Thanks for doing such a great job. We found this older home in Toronto and wanted to have it inspected by a professional. We found Tom on Homestars and he lived up to the amazing reviews we've seen online. He was patient and thorough and didn't' mind that we brought along both our families during the inspection. Great Inspection. After reading the reviews on Homestars we contacted Tom to perform his "Plus" inspection, because we wanted the most comprehensive and thorough inspection possible before making an offer on a home. This included a Infrared camera scan and air testing for mold. The extra cost for these comprehensive services was *well* worth it. We were very happy with the way Tom went through the home and explained the various issues. His report was very clear and gave my girlfriend and I confidence in making our decision to proceed with an offer on this home. Well done

Tom was very professional and thorough. He took the time to review all items with me and my agent and answered all our questions. Tom was fantastic from beginning to the end. He explained everything that was going on and often encouraged us to ask questions for anything. He was able to get a very detailed report for us within 24 hrs and even spoke to us on the phone at 11:30 pm just to explain what the mold analysis results showed and meant! A++! From the first moment we met Tom, we could instantly tell that he took his work to Heart. We called so many other Home Inspection Companies and they were not able to provide the kind of service we were looking for, such as Air Testing. We purchased a home that was built in the 1950's and we wanted to ensure we hire a very thorough home inspector, who not only provide us the issues about the house, but also, explain how it can be remedied. He is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain every detail of the Home Inspection to us, and make us aware of any and all issues that he was able to discover, their implications on the future of the home, their potential repair cost, etc... The report Tom provided was detailed, with great images and illustrations, and again went above and beyond what we expected; it even provided links to information on proper home maintenance for all the different aspects of our Home. Furthermore, he was exceptionally accommodating, whenever we have questions about the report, he will respond to us promptly, even at odd times of the evenings. I retained this company, largely due to its rating on HomeStars. They did not disappoint. I went with the most thorough (and therefore expensive) package, the extended plus home inspection. Tom was everything you want in a home inspector - thorough, conscientious, prompt, and polite. He explained the specifics of his inspection in an easy to understand manner. I felt like he was more concerned with the fitness of the home than I was. The inspection, with taxes in, cost about $1,000. While that sounds expensive, it included a full thermal imaging of the house and mold testing. In my view, it was money well-spent. Bottom line: I fully intend to use Tom and ClearView the next time I buy a house, and that's the highest recommendation I can give.
