Good job! We contacted Tom have reading the great reviews on HomeStars and engaged him to perform a home inspection on a home we are considering. I found Tom to be extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional who provided me insight into all major and minor deficiencies with this property. Tom not only took the time to conduct the home inspection, but also explained the issues that he found with the home. The infrared camera was very cool too. I would highly recommend Tom's services to anyone looking for a thorough home inspection.

He explained the issues clearly and provide a comprehensive report. He also uncovered some structural issues that would have been very expensive to repair, and I'm glad to have found this out before moving forward with this home. Perfect! Buying an older home was nerve racking. The reviews on Homestars for Tom are amazing and I'm glad he offers the thermal imaging. Tom found a small leak under one of the bathrooms with the infrared camera. It's strange because there were no visible marks on the floor or ceiling. Nevertheless he found it and as a result I was able to negotiate a better price. I was also amazed at how through he was. It looked to me that he was inspecting the home as if it was to be his own... wow...that blew me away. Obviously I have tremendous respect for the professionalism Tom showed and would definitely recommend his services. Thanks tom for saving me $7000 off my asking price

Tom did a fantastic job and we appreciate it. We found him on HomeStars. He meticulously combed through the house and brought forward many items that I wouldn't have known. We also opted for the thermal camera, which was very cool. It was amazing how sensitive the camera is and the types of items it can detected through the walls and floors. We were very happy with his service and recommend Tom to anyone needing a quality inspection.??????!

Tom showed up well prepared with his toolbelt and was professional from the very start. He explained the process and conducted a thorough inspection in and around the suite, pointing out various items that required some tweaking. Overall, he was responsive throughout the process, answered all my questions and remained friendly the whole time. I opted not to go with the infrared camera option and he agreed it was not as value-adding for a newer condo. Overall, Tom provided great service, and I would be comfortable recommending Tom for other inspections.

This home inspection was performed on March 30 2013, but got busy and forgot to write one afterwards until coming on HomeStars recently for other reasons. We needed to get the home inspected urgently before we waive the condition on the purchase agreement. We emailed a few inspectors to see who had the best credentials and to see who can come out. Tom replied me the quickest and had the most impressive experience and qualifications of the inspectors were were considering. He was thorough with the inspection, explained everything to me in detail, and also taught mea lot about how to identify some problems myself. Tom emailed me the full (and very comprehensive) report that same evening. Wow, simply amazing. Definitely recommend Tom to all my friends. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND HONEST GUY!

Tom was a great inspector. He was very kind and knowledgeable and was able to convey his message well to my father who has a bit of a language barrier. He showed us potential problems as well as provided solutions and information regarding the types contractors we may consider hiring. The use of the IR camera was definitely well worth the money and I would recommend it since Tom was able to show us things such as duct placements and missing ventilation ducts. Furthermore he was able to address concerns as to whether a particular drywall patch was due to a leak or if it was general repair. Tom was punctual and was readily available to answer any questions a few days after the inspection. He also provided a very user friendly and professional inspection report. I would definitely recommend Tom and will be using his services again in the future.

Tom was very professional and personable. We had a few specific concerns that he looked at and provided informative explanations about, and he also did a thorough inspection of the rest of the house and property and pointed out other areas of immediate and future concern. He suggested some simple fixes for some of the problems and confirmed my worries about a wall issue and referred us to a couple of structural engineers for further analysis. The infrared scan was helpful in determining some moisture issues and he even threw in an infrared photo of me and my wife which was pretty cool. Overall, he was great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.
