    Very Informative!

    I would highly recommend Clearview for your home inspection. Our inspector, Andrew, was very friendly and took the time to explain all of his findings. He also gave us recommendations as to how we could rectify issues. As first time owners of a detached property, his thorough and considerate explanations were really appreciated. We would definitely use Clearview again!

    Home Inspection

    Tom did a tremendous job in the home inspection for a new home we were considering purchasing. Of note, he found a leak in the basement of that home which would require thousands of dollars in repairs. Because of this we decided not to purchase the home which saved us both the cost the headaches if we had purchased that home.

    Home Inspections

    We had two inspections done with Tom. Each one was very thorough and he walked through each issue he was writing up so we understood fully the scope of the issue.

    Home Inspection for House Sale

    Tom fit us in under super short notice (reached out on a Friday for a Monday inspection) for our home sale. He had previously also inspected our home when we initially purchased it. Both times, he was thorough, reliable, flexible and super easy to deal with. We plan to use him again for our new home purchase!

    Home Inspection

    I found this home inspection to be very thorough and detailed. Tom, the inspector, was professional and pleasant to deal with. I felt the service he provided was of the highest quality and trusted his findings to be helpful for anyone purchasing the home. He found many small problems that if addressed would definitely serve to maintain the home for years to come.

    House Inspection After Purchase

    I hired ClearView after reviewing its stellar in-depth reviews both on HomeStars and Google. I can verify that the attention to detail and clear communication were as advertized. Tom was very thorough, methodical and organized in his inspection. I appreciated his openness to questions and his recommendations. I would definitely re-hire ClearView for future inspections.

    Inspector missed a MAJOR crack in my home's foundation.

    In preparation for buying my first home, I hired Clearview for a pre-purchase inspection. The entire experience has left me beyond disappointed! Upon reviewing the inspection report, I felt confident buying the home, as no serious issues were observed. However, several months after moving into the home, I discovered a large patched crack in the foundation that stretches from the basement window all the way to the floor. From the exterior of the house, it is clearly visible, but unfortunately, their inspector Bob missed it. I’m very worried that this could lead to significant structural or water issues in the future. In fact, I have already noticed several structural issues with the home such as as out of level door frames and cracks in the walls. I'm told this could cost $100,000+ to repair. Clearview's owner, Thomas, informed me the crack was not missed during the inspection. Instead, he claims their inspector deemed it a non-issue, therefore the report did not include it. However, the report was full of other useless information such as a kitchen cabinets rubbing together. It seems, however, that a major structural repair was not important enough to include! As a first-time home buyer, I placed my faith and confidence in Clearview to ensure my first home was in good condition. This was a terrible mistake! I would not recommend this company to anyone.
