Great inspection! Tom was very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. He took the time to explain everything he found, and answered all of my questions. He also seemed to genuinely care about me getting the information I needed to make an informed decision and ensured he told me about every detail he found. He definitely made the process easier for me and I would recommend him without any hesitation. He has also been very helpful after the fact continuing to respond to my questions. Simply perfect! My husband and I just purchased our first home and did a bit of research to ensure we went with a reliable home inspector. We came across the homestars website and after seeing the multiple positive reviews, we decided to go with Tom from Clearview Home Inspections. What a great decision that was! The inspection was thorough and we were encouraged to ask questions and be involved. We were sent a full inspection report with digital and infrared pictures– which we used to negotiate the buying price down a few thousand :) We will definitely refer Clearview Home Inspections to anyone looking for an honest and educated inspector. My husband and I have purchased 5 different homes in the past 7 years. We have had home inspections with each move only to find them unsatisfactory in terms of locating challenges with our new homes. That is why we used Tom. He is in a league of his own. He is professional, patient, informative but above all, a true investigator of what is right and what is wrong in a home. We purchased the thermal imaging add on service which provided us with confirmation of what we had already suspected and peace of mind for areas of the home that we questioned. Tom had the report back to us within hours of our inspection. He never rushed, took the time to point things out, made recommendations and provided us with solutions. We have never had such a positive experience with a Home Inspector as ours with Tom. We would not hesitate to recommend Tom to anyone wanting a quality home inspection.

We are very happy to recommend Tom. He did a fantastic job for the inspection of our home. He was referred to us through friend as being thorough, patient, and very knowledgeable. Tom was all that and more. We learned a lot from the inspection and would recommend his services. We asked as well for the infrared camera scan, which helped us to better understand what may be happening in the walls. I felt comfortable that I understood the report he gives you, and felt I was making an informed decision before signing the next phase of the purchase of the house. Tom did a terrific job on the home inspection and was very thorough, finding many defects. He not only identifies the various issues but also explained why the items needed to be addressed and by when. Tom's report was comprehensive and included the digital and infrared pictures and issued the same day. We opted for the Extended Plus package for peace of mind and it was money well spent! From start to finish, the home inspection was well done! I hired Tom based on the reviews that he had at Homestar, and he did not dissapoint. He was very punctual (10 mins earlier than the appointment) and explained everything that he was checking and inspecting patiently with us. He also encouraged us with our questions and not once did he made us feel ignorant or uncomfortable because of it. He did a great inspection of the house and took a lot of time going through everything, unlike our previous home inspector.He is very proffessional and well prepared.
