18 Year Old Home Inspection
We purchased our first home a month ago and our realtor recommended a few home inspectors. After reading some reviews about them, I decided to do my own research. I stumbled upon Clearview Home & Property Inspections and read the great feedback from past clients. I didn't hesitate to contact the number and get more info. Tom answered our call and was very informative about the process. We felt very comfortable speaking to him and I finally asked if he would be available the following week to be our inspector since I had read so many great things about him. We even decided to spend a little more on package C because it being an older home, we wanted to ensure there was no mould. On the day of, Tom explained everything in detail before he started. He answered any questions or concerns we had, documented all the areas he had recommendations for and took photos for the report. All the information he provided us relieved us that there was no leaky roof, unstable foundation or moisture behind the walls. The report came the night of. We now have a full document of what we should get fixed and within what recommended timeline. I would fully recommend Tom's services. My parents, realtors and husband were all very impressed with his knowledge, helpfulness, clear communication and ability to put our minds at ease. Thanks Tom! Cheers, Cat & Chris

Home Inspection
My husband and I are first time home buyers and we chose Tom for home inspection. Before booking him he explained everything on phone in detail about what to expect. on the day of inspection he was right on time and gave a detail review pointing and explaining everything in detail. Our real estate agent was also very impressed by his work and decided to give him a call for all his other deals. Overall amazing service which gave us a peace of mind. Thankyou Tom!!!

Home inspection
Tom the inspector was great. He was very friendly a took his time explaining findings and general details about the house and the deficiencies that he found. He did a thorough inspection of the home and reported all the deficiencies, with supporting pictures, on an easily accessible online document. I strongly recommend this inspector as he did a great job.

Home inspection
We could not have been more impressed with the level of service that Clearview offered. Tom arrived on site early and walked us through the exact process of the home inspection he was about to perform and always encouraged us to ask any questions that we had while walking through the home with him. Both a visual inspection and a thermal inspection were performed as part of their 'level 2' package. At the end of the lengthy and thorough inspection, we felt extremely confident that our soon-to-be home was a sound choice. Less than 4 hours after the end of the inspection, we recieved a detailed digital report on Tom's findings. After witnessing the level of professionalism displayed by Tom, we would instantly recommend Clearview to anyone who wants peace of mind before moving into a new home. Thanks!

Mold, VOC and formaldehyde testing
Tom was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with all of my questions and concerns and even provided additional information to help me along with my next steps to be taken. This has been the best experience I've had with any service I've commissioned and would gladly recommend Tom and his company to anyone is need of the same services he currently offers.

Home Inspection
I hired Tom to do a home inspection for our newly built home. His professionalism was incredible. He was on time and efficient. He took the time to explain to me what he was checking for every step of the way and encouraged me to shadow him so that I could learn about my new home. He also provided some great advice.

100 Year Old Home
We just purchased a century old home and based on the reviews on Homestars we called Tom @ CVHI to perform our home inspection. We were not disappointed as Tom was able to very clearly explain all the issues in the home and he provided a report that gave us a roadmap on the items which needed to be addressed immediately and those that we just needed to monitor if the situation changed. He also does continue to support after the home inspections and makes time for his clients questions days after. He really does deserve his high ratings online, thanks again Tom!

Home inspection for buying
The inspector Tom was really knowledgeable and thorough in his inspection. He took his time and made sure we understand the issues and faults in the house during inspection. He is experienced and knew many minute details of the construction and issues that an old house have. We definitely recommend him as he is really good in what he do.

Presale house inspection
Tom is a very knowledgeable person and he is very patience enough with us. He went through the procedure with us before going into the inspection. For example, Tom told us he is going to go through the house 3 times. The first around he provided a highlight on the area which is important to mention. The second round he went through the house again with in depth explanation on the item he highlighted previously. Last but not least, he used thermal camera to detect any issues which is unable to capture by human eyes. After all, Tom is a one of the best in the field. I will definitely recommend him to my friend.

Home inspection
Tom did my home inspection. Tom is verubknowledgeabke, professional and explained everything in great detail. His report was very thorough. I would definitely recommend him and would also hire him on the future
