    World class installation

    It's 10 o'clock Friday night and William (head Installer) just left our house, which says a lot for going the extra mile. He has been working for 3 long days to install a combined high efficiency furnace and a heat exchanger along with a tankless hot water system. Airco have been a real pleasure to deal with from the very beginning of this process. After talking to the office, scheduling a time to access our house, Dan showed up on time and we had a great walk thru and a very good plan was created and submitted shortly after his visit. A few weeks later the install date came and William arrived on site and on time. William has been fantastic to deal with. He is extremely thoughtful and his knowledge regarding heating and cooling is top notch. William always took his time to explain why certain things were like they were if a question came up. We could not have ended up with a better company. We highly recommend Airco to anyone who want an honest, hardworking, friendly, thoughtful and a high quality installation. Keep up the good work!

    Furnace Replacement

    The most amazing service I have ever had, hands down. From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to be helped and cared for by Dan’s team. I seriously have never felt so trusting of anyone servicing anything for me. All of them were kind, genuine and funny! And the work was done with the utmost care and professionalism. Thank you to Dan for always answering my texts even though it was definitely after hours. He answered my questions and did his best to accommodate my needs. I am so glad I chose a family run business, as 2020 proved to be a difficult year for everyone, I wanted to support local. The universe placed me with the best of best out there and I will highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you again, Dan, Jeanne, and Matthew!

    Furnace

    From the first call for a quote to the final testing of all the systems. Professional friendly and very responsive to all my questions. My new Daiken furnace is humming along very quietly keeping me nice and toasty.

    Heat pump install

    Very happy with the service received. Our techs were William and Matt. Both were great communicators, always seeking clearance to adjust plans as the job developed. They arrived on time when the job was scheduled to begin. It spanned over 3 days as planned. The first night they provided space heaters as the new heat pump was not yet up and running. We received good advice on the options available to us. Loved that they registered our product for us with the manufacturer, thus qualifying for the full 12 year warranty. The office staff always returned calls, and the invoice administration was a breeze.

    Great Customer Service

    My furnace just stopped working and I called Airco and they managed to fit me within 24hrs to help!! Dan and his son came out and preformed a service on the unit and it functioned for 1 day and then malfunctioned again, so they came out within 24hrs and put in a new thermostat and the unit seemed to work fine when they left. It malfunctioned for the 3rd time and Dan went out of his way to make sure it was working and also did this on his day off!! I can't thank you enough and would recommend your services to all my friends and family.

    Furnace/fireplace service

    I called Dan at Airco at 10:00 this morning and had an appointment for 2:00 this afternoon. Jeanne called, said he had a cancellation and could he come by early. Serviced furnace and answered all my questions about my fireplace. Left everything clean and in great working order, definitely will be calling Airco for all my future service calls and maybe an AC unit in the spring.

    Work done at my home and rental property

    Quite happy with this company's service and communication. The owner is fully involved in the business and responses to emails and enquiries very quickly. He helps with determining the most cost effective method to repair and replace. He is very upfront on identifying safety issues for both his staff and the work site. Definitely will continue to use

    Furnace part replacement and fireplace tune up

    The technician called and was able to come early, which is a first for repairs and very helpful! The job was done well and the clean up was meticulous. There was only one oversight - the patch cord was left in the furnace so the house kept getting hotter. When I phoned the technician he immediately knew what had happened and came back and remedied the situation.

    Repaired and tuned up boiler system

    Great service right on time freindly technician. Very knowledgeable and professional. Will recommend to anyone. Boiler runs perfectly now. After work was completed he cleaned up everything nicely. It's good to know there is still a company out there that cares and you can count on.

    Great Company and Great Products

    If I could give more than 5 Stars out of 5, I would. I originally called Airco out of the blue because I thought they were a Carrier dealer and my current Carrier was 20 years old and my Bosch on demand hot water system was leaking. After a lengthy discussion with Dan he told me they were no longer a Carrier dealer because the company did not stand behind their product. I could tell right away that Dan was passionate about keeping his customers happy. From the moment I met Dan I knew I had found an “old school” kind of guy. No high pressure sales tactics. Just an honest evaluation of options that were available to me. During the COVID19 crisis, I have made a conscious effort to support small family run businesses that have lots of integrity. I knew I had found that with Airco Heating & Cooling Ltd. Dan recommended a 60,000 BTU Daikin 2 stage furnace with a variable speed ECM motor with an efficiency of about 96%. He could have easily recommended a more expensive model with 98% efficiency but did not because he took the time to properly evaluate my home based on its unique characteristics. I own an almost 40 year old split level. He said the gain of 2% efficiency was not worth the additional cost. In addition, the higher efficiency furnace (98%) is more complex and subject to more possible problems. He also recommended venting the new furnace and on-demand hot water system by utilizing the existing B Vent chimney. They ran two exhaust pipes up the existing chimney which meant no new holes in my roof! They were able to utilize an existing fresh air intake and only had to drill a small hole in the side of my house to accommodate a fresh air intake for the new furnace. This was done to ensure I would receive the Fortis rebate. Airco also quoted a Navien on demand hot water heater which has proved to be an excellent choice. Both the installers William (Lead) and Jonathan (Apprentice) were incredible. William is extremely competent in his trade and does meticulous work. He takes great pride in doing it right. He said to me “... there is the easy way or there is the best way”. Airco chooses to do it the best way. The company doesn’t rush their installations and is there to answer all your questions. They were both very patient and eager to please the customer. William’s apprentice told me that he learned more from William than 3 previous lead hands. I have a business degree specializing in Marketing and these guys tick all the boxes. They have a high degree of integrity and do quality work. After the installation was complete they ran several tests on the furnace which it passed with flying colours. As well, William took the time to explain how the thermostat worked and actually programmed it for us. I did get another quote for the job and the other contractor recommended the same size 60,000 BTU, 2 stage, variable speed motor furnace (different brand) and exactly the same model on-demand Navien hot water system. So I knew then that Dan was giving me “...the straight goods”. However, the other contractor recommended venting both the furnace and on demand system in a way that could have negatively affected my neighbour with exhaust fumes. After getting two quotes, they were almost identical in price. I went with Airco for the following reasons: 1. Family run business with old fashioned values of putting the customer first 2. Very high Google review ratings 3. Excellent standing with Better Business Bureau 4. Recipient of many local business rewards 5. Smaller company means better quality control with fewer crews to manage 6. Installer (William) is a long term employee with excellent reviews. People specifically named him in their reviews which is rare 7. Pricing was competitive but it wasn’t my number one criteria 8. Better venting option vs other contractor I highly recommend this company for their business ethics and the fact they also carry great products. Daikin is the largest HVAC company in the world and has the best warranty in the industry and Navien is a leader in their field. Combine a great installation company with great products and you have a winner on your hands. I am going to leave a codicil in my Will that stipulates only Airco can service both our furnace and on demand system. All kidding aside, you can’t go wrong with Airco Heating and Cooling.
