ZIM installed my metal roof November 2017. We noticed a lot of birds were nesting on our roof beginning Spring 2018, there were two, I managed to block the one over the garage after they vacated. It got progressively worse of the past few years, however this year we saw them go under the peak of the roof where the wood had been cut out for the installation and air circulation, We had nesting material showing up in our attic. I phoned ZIM the woman said she would send someone right out. Then I get a call from the company owner saying he had no one to come out. I explained the situation and he assured me that there was wire mesh installed on the peaks and eves trough . I know there is no mesh on the eve trough because I checked it and I have photos that there is none in the peak either. I sent him photos of the location the birds are getting under the peak , his solution was pick up wire from him and do it myself ( I’m 71 ) or get some neighbour to go on my roof and install the mesh. He kept insisting I get a neighbour, relative or if I have a son to go on the roof of my two story house and install some mesh. Obviously the roof was not properly installed and there is no after sales service whatsoever from ZIM. My photos show twigs inside my roof in the attic and no mesh to be seen at all.

Avoid Zim Group Metal Roofing at all cost. I wouldn't recommend this Metal Roofing to anybody. It was a nightmare dealing with this company. Mykola is just another dishonest contractor. Don't waste your time.

A roof is a FUNCTION, not simply a covering! Zim' s Mykola a civil engineer, came out and assessed my problems before giving me a quote. He explained to me that his design would get rid of the problems i was experiencing. My problems had to do that old house musty smell and water leakage. Mykola explained further that his roofing design would dry the walls out completely in 2 to 3 months and he was right!!!. I recognized a difference in air quality in my home shortly after the installation. I am very happy with the end result of project. Thank you Mykola, Thank you ZIM! 647.201.6115

I had this roof for 3 years now and since had many neighbors also inquire about it. Two of my neighbours ended getting the same roof and color as I did. The workers were quick and very professional when doing their job however I am currently having a small issue with birds sneaking in between to nest. I called initially the first year and someone came back to rectify the issue which I will say I was very impressed with but I’m now dealing with the same issue this year. I called again and I was told someone would come to look at it but I have not heard from them for 5 weeks now... I usually like to wait a while to really talk about my experience and overall I would say good however the fact that after spending quite a bit of money , to be ignored after is disappointing... I am hopeful that they will try to call and come to rectify the bird nesting issue. Will keep you all posted ..

Contacted Zim Group for a quote and Sergei from Carlson Construction came. We agreed on pricing and was able to start work within the same week. Took about 3 1/2 days to get the roofing completed and I didn't have any issues at all. Instant bonding with the working crew and during breaks, supplied coffee and cookies. Before packing up everything, they did a complete sweep for metal debris all around the house. Highly recommend Zim Group. You will not regret it at all

We had 3 quotes for our roof in all, Alex was by far the most thorough in explaining what would take place, how the roof would be installed and he walked us through his presentation which answered all our questions. We are very satisfied with the new roof and the installers, we expected as much after meeting with Alex and how he came across.

Sal Construction was the team that actually installed the roof and the lead installer, Alex, and his team were AMAZING! They were very friendly, courteous and perfectionists about their work.
