I am very satisfied with the results of this project. Like many painting companies, the person who responds to the quote and arranges the contract is not the person who does the job. The outcome is completely dependent on the painter/contractor and ours was Ray who was outstanding. He was detailed, conscientious and took great care and effort to do what it took to do the job right. Ours was challenging with many prep and repairs needed before painting and Ray is very skilled, experienced and hard-working and made sure we were happy with the results. Overview The initial impression of the organization was professional; however, the overall experience was disappointing. Key Concerns • Subcontracting Issues: o The individual who provides the quote is not the actual painter. o Communication becomes challenging due to subcontracting, leading to confusion over who to address concerns. • Pricing Discrepancies: o Chose the company based on: Professional presentation. Significantly lower quote compared to competitors. o Experienced unexpected additional costs during the job, indicating potential hidden fees. • Additional Charges: o Job renegotiation occurred after starting: Claimed additional payment was necessary for services not included in the initial quote. Example: Required a lift jack for the top spire at an extra cost of $1,000. o Raises questions about the accuracy of the initial quote and site survey. Quality of Work • Incomplete Work: o Areas left unpainted. o Issues with paint chipping. o Leftover painter’s tape on-site.Answer from pro:
We identified the customer who posted the anonymous review and I’ll meet them personally to address concerns and ensure satisfaction. We value our clients’ trust and resolve issues promptly. The client is covered by a 2-year all-inclusive warranty for any dissatisfaction. To clarify a few points: 1. Our onsite foreman represents us, resolving matters immediately, and I’m always reachable. The client was away during the job, and we took full responsibility to complete it. 2. The wood was in very poor shape (photos attached) and was professionally restored — a specialized service few offer affordably. 3. A 30-ft high spire was included free due to its small area. 4. A 40-ft ladder couldn’t reach it because of a roof section; we advised a boom was needed but not cost-effective. Though the spire was free, we refunded 15% of the project cost. 5. All quoted work was completed, and the client paid only the reduced amount. We look forward to resolving this soon.

Ansir reached out promptly to gather the details for the job and establish clear expectations on what we were looking for. Once we confirmed the colour we wanted we went ahead and confirmed the job. Felix called shortly thereafter and was able to come out the next day and complete the job to our satisfaction! Appreciate the prompt response and completion of work - our garage doors were touched up for rust and after the painting, you'd never know it was there before! I Revised my rating. I was contacted by the company after my post and they sent the crew back to fix some of the issue. I had patched the walls, so they didn't need to do that, but they cleaned the floor and fixed the dashboards. -- I picked this company because of all the positive reviews, but was disappointed with the service. Some parts were good, but it wasn't all the same quality. First I will start with the good. 1. In general the walls and baseboards were painted well. 2. The areas that they patchhed were done well. 3. There were 3 people so it was done in a day. Now for the bad. 1. When they painted the ceiling they painted part of the light fixture and didn't clean it, so I had to. 2. There were dents in the wall that they didn't fill and when I pointed it out. The guy just looked at me with a blank face, so I knew he wasn't going to do it. I did it myself. 3. They painted over the door strikes. If I knew I would have removed them. Glad I removed the wall plates.Answer from pro:

She later raised concerns, and we returned promptly for touch-ups. We encourage clients to contact us directly for solutions, so they don't handle work themselves. Brenda chose to do some touch-ups herself. To ensure her full satisfaction, we're refunding a portion. We stand by our work, provide solutions, and prioritize client satisfaction. She's also covered by a 2-year all-inclusive warranty going forward.
