Payless came out to my house to provide a quote and helpful advice before the move. Their flat rate fee was very reasonable, less than I have paid for previous moves. On the day of the move, they arrived early, and got right to work quickly and efficiently. We moved from one old house to another, so there were narrow doorways and stairways to be negotiated, but the Payless team did so without difficulty. They were friendly, polite and worked hard. I would call them again for my next move, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

The best moving service. Champ and his team are incredibly nice, efficient and careful with your belongings. The move was so fast. I'm very impressed and won't hesitate to recommend paylsss!

I had used Payless to move our family belongings from one house to the next. I had two weeks to move from one house to the other. I did it that way so that it would be less stressful. We agreed on a flat rate after Peter had visited. The Good: The team consisted of 3. They were professional, had everything ready to go at the time given. The not-so-good: They were supposed to cover the bigger furniture items so that no damage was done. We had discussed and agreed upon that a month prior to the move. The day of the move, they did not cover anything except for two-three items. The bad: Our furniture, specifically our sofas, with leather handles were torn. Torn very badly, and now i have to get them replaced. Those sofas cost $800 a piece, and now are an eyesore in the living room. Overall, the lesson is GET EVERYTHING in WRITING. Especially if you are planning a big move.

Peter and his colleagues were polite, friendly and careful. They arrived early and worked efficiently. We were way ahead of schedule for our move in time. We had a short window to use the elevator before another move in. Rather than waiting a couple of hours for our scheduled move in time they started moving right away and finished before the next move started. My husband and we're really impressed.

I found Payless through Homestars. Peter came to my home to look over the job first before providing an estimate. Peter and two other men arrived promptly on moving day and expertly hauled about 2 dozen pieces of furniture and over a hundred boxes and bags from my stacked townhome to their van, then unloaded it all at our new location. There was a slight mixup about the address of our new home which caused them to be waiting at the wrong house for a bit, but Peter was very polite about the misunderstanding and simply carried on with the unloading once he got to the right house. When we got to the new home, as they were unloading the truck, the men mentioned smelling gas and advised us to call Enbridge. We took their advice and called. When Enbridge showed up, there was indeed some gas escaping from the main unit. We are eternally grateful to Payless for pointing out the smell and advising us to call. Thank you! Overall: The men were polite and respectful to my mother and I throughout. No furniture was damaged. All items were delivered intact. They worked efficiently and were organized. They had to climb a ton of stairs and never seemed to need to take a rest. The fee is very reasonable for such a big moving job. I fully recommend Payless Moving and Deliveries.

VERY IMPRESSED! Homestars comes through...AGAIN! Moving, thankfully, is one of those things that you don't like to do, but it's a fact of life. Picking the right mover can make all the difference in the world. And I made that choice this time around. After searching home stars, and contacting some 6-7 movers, I selected Payless because Peter was the ONLY one that came to my condo ahead of time to see what was involved. All the others simply gave a text book quote over the phone or email, and refused to show up to see how much I had to move. Based on this, was why I selected Payless. Peter was the best price by a long shot, showed up on time with his crew, and looked after my move cleanly, efficiently, and without delay. The consumate professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and suggest that you have to make the same selection I did when you make your next move. If I ever need to move again, I'll know who to call. They did a great job. I hired payless to move me and my roommates into our three floor walk-up. They were amazing! They were on time and managed to get all of our stuff out of each of our three houses and on the road within an hour! They also managed to move all our furniture into our apartment within an hour and a half (even with the heat)! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Payless was recommended to me by a friend who had used them a few years ago and had a great experience. I called them after hours one evening asking for a quote and Peter called me back very first thing the next morning to arrange a house visit in order to provide the quote. The price was very reasonable compared to others we had seen so we booked with them. On the day of the move Peter and his team not only showed up on time, but actually showed up early and after quick greetings they got immediately to work which i loved. They were so efficient with their loading that it took less time than planned to get everything in out truck and to be on our way and the same efficiency was used when we arrived at the new place. Peters team took a mere few hours to pack us, move us and unpack us. We were so pleased. They handled our stuff with care and not even so much as a glass was broken or damaged, everything was in perfect condition. I would recommend Peter and his team to anyone who needs movers, definitely book with them if you are looking!
