    Countertop installation

We moved to our new house in Bradford on June the 18th and had our new countertops installed on the 1st of July. It was the most incredible and extremely professional service on our new house since we've moved. I had so many questions in the beginning and Natalia gave me comprehensive answers and explanation on different types of countertops, colour, edges, dimensions and backsplash. Sergei took measurements with mathematical precision and with a detailed explanation helped us shape the project on the sketch. We have learned so many interesting things on kitchen design from him! Installation process was quick, clean and stress-free. Thank you so much from Bradford, Natalia and Sergei!!!

Replace & install new counter tops

The reviews on Homestars supported the recommendation of Rockstella made by our kitchen cabinet refacing company. Step 1: Natalia took us through the process and explained our options. She was patient, thorough and very knowledgeable. She provided good advice and a reasonable price . Step 2: Sergey came to measure and built on Natalia's expertise with further suggestions and good advice. Step 3: The crew arrived right on time, did an incredible job and left the kitchen spotless. We would highly recommend Natalia, Sergey and all at Rockstella. They are all perfectionists and a pleasure to do business with.

    Quarz countertop

Best experience ever with a contractor! Communication and responsiveness - 10 Execution - outstanding (wish I can give an 11) We were very concerned due to the layout of our countertop (huge L shape) . Since it was not possible to cut it from one slab of granite, the color and pattern variations could not be avoided. We opted for quartz at Natalia's suggestion and it was a good decision. Quartz has very little, if at all, variation in color and pattern. What made me beyond happy is the fact that the seams between the 2 pieces of stone used are almost invisible. Perfect cut and match. Same perfect cut for the undermount sink despite missing the template from the manufacturer and difficult shape. I recommend Rockstella without any reservations.

    Answer from pro:

Alina & Bogdan, thank you so much for your review and positive feedback and sorry for the late reply. Im also glad you've selected quartz as it does work a lot better for kitchens with layout similar to yours. It was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you so much for trusting us with your project! All the best in the future! Natallia

    quartz countertops

We have bought a home and wanted to make a modern look in our new kitchen. We found Rockstella via Internet and it was really great experience. We’ve got full satisfaction from work with Rockstella. Natalia was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant in communication. She explained me the different options, answered all my questions, and helped to get what I really needed. And it's true, they have huge choice of material and work with many suppliers. They had a variety samples to choose from what was very helpful for me. The installation was on schedule. The installers were very professional and did a great job. I have got what I really expected from them: excellent quality, reasonable price, amazing experience. We are planning to replace vanity tops as well and we will definitely use Rockstella again. I would also highly recommend Rockstella to anyone. Thank you guys for your job, my kitchen now looks wonderful and very modern.

    kitchen granite countertops

After reviewing several quotes across 5 different vendors, we decided to work with Rockstella to get our kitchen countertops completed. Working with Natallia and Sergey was an extremely pleasant experience as they were very accomodating to our schedule and needs. Natallia was very patient with us and generated well over 10 quotes as we couldnt land on whether we wanted to go with granite or quartz. They even went out of their way to come by my place on Mothers Day to measure the surface area of work so that we could get the countertop installed in time for our move in date. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and highly recommend them!

    Answer from pro:

Quartz Countertops - Sink area and Island

Such a pleasant experience with Rockstella.. From the organization and order placement: Natallia was amazing - helpful, honest, and very open to the cost (slab sizes, installation, etc). She provided multiple quotes and not only gave us what we asked for, but did a great job in providing different scenarios/costs based on our countertop choices. She understood our budget and tried to show us the most relevant options. When we placed our order and it turned out there was a backlog of a particular countertop, she jumped through hoops to make sure we were happy with an alternative (same material, different thickness/mitered edge). From an measuring and installation point of view: Sergey was on time, very polite, and very accurate with his measurements, taking the time to note our strange wall (old house). Sergey and his team's installation went very well. Calculated, accurate and with care. Thanks so much everyone!

Great job by Natallia and Sergey! they were the lowest price of 3 quotes we got, but the quality was really good. lots of communication back and forth, they were open to requests and also gave suggestions. Measurements were perfect. installation was spotless. They even left a little extra cutting board/hot plate to go with everything. Would highly recommend them!

    Granite countertop installation

Right from the get go, communication and service were great. Sergey was thorough with his measurements as was Natalia with the communication. On installation day, the workers arrived right on time and laid floor protection from the door to the kitchen to protect the hardwood. I chose a difficult granite to work with and while I was mostly satisfied with the fabrication, I did have some issues with the installation. The peninsula part of the countertop was cut in my driveway, not at their facility. There was a crooked cut at the wall that was camouflaged with caulk and the seam joining the two pieces was not where I was expecting it and is much more obvious than I would have liked. When I asked about it, I was told "a seam is a seam is a seam" and there was nothing they could do to make it less obvious. In the end, I had to find someone else to fix it. A word of advice: find out where the seam is going to be before you commit.

    Answer from pro:

Linda, thank you so much for your review. Im sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the final product. I wish you had contacted me to report problems with the installation before posting this review as we always try to resolve all issues and answer all of your questions. Yes you did pick extremely difficult and problematic granite which is rarely used in kitchens. This explains why most fabricators don’t work with it. I was honest with you from the beginning that final product will not be perfect, seams will be visible and there will be chips and holes filled with glue. This is only because of the nature and structure of this particular stone and you wanted it regardless. In regards to the seam placement, peninsula was the only possible solution in this case and again we have discussed with you that if you choose this granite, there will be no flexibility at all with the edging and seaming. In fact I personally took a huge risk and requested to make only one joint instead of two recommended by our installers and technicians (peninsula and sink). I have told you that there was a 50/50 chance of breakage during transportation or installation. I truly believe that installer did everything possible to make your kitchen including the seam look as good as it can be. However we are perfectionists and your feedback is very important to us. If you indeed hired somebody else to “fix” the seam and if you are happy with their job, i insist that we pay your bill. Also please respond to my personal email that i sent you and please let us take a look at it so we can learn and improve. Besides the seam, you have never mentioned any problems with the installation and when I called you to follow up you said that everything else was good. (Yes i admit you did mention the seam) Faucet holes are drilled on site during installation but everything else is always cut in our shop. Sometimes we do have to make adjustments and additional cuts. It does happen. If cuts are necessary, the installers always take granite outside to make sure there is as little dust as possible in your house. Please let me know why this is a problem, as you have never mentioned anything about it before. Also we do have to cut walls sometimes. The wall in your kitchen was very uneven and it was safer to cut the wall than the granite, again, just because your granite is extremely fragile. The wall was cut on a straight line, but because it’s so uneven, the cut is more visible. Once countertops are put in, installers do not camouflage but seal the space between counter and the wall with waterproof paintable products. It is sealed everywhere and every time, not only when the walls are cut. This is a standard procedure to prepare walls for painting if tile backsplash is not installed. Again if you have any doubts about installation, you are always welcome to ask questions and we will be more than happy to answer them. There is an explanation to each and every step of the fabrication and installation process. You have never mentioned anything to the installers and they said you were very happy with the installation, so i assumed that everything went well. If you are having any problems associated with wall cutting or anything else, please let me know, we’d like to work with you on this to make you happy. If mistake was made somewhere by our installers or by me, please let us know and we will take full responsibility for it. Im wishing you all the best. Natallia
