We were at a loss as to how to fix a shower floor that was only 4 years old, the original owner of our condo unit who did the work themselves hadn't done the work correctly & tiles were popping off. This tiling project stressed me as I wanted the final look of the shower to look like the replacement tile were always there & match the existing wall tiles & grout. I did some homework & came across Tile Stars, based on the great reviews, I sent Dmitri a request for more information. Am I happy we did! Dmitri & his team were top notch! Dmitri provided a clear, fair all-in detailed quote, he even reached out to an expert in the original product the previous owners had used before he proposed a solution. The idea was to use the best products to ensure the fix would last a long time. Dmitri also caught a possible error we had made in our grout color choice. The grout we had originally chosen wouldn't have matched the exiting walls as well, Dmitri proposed a better alternative color stating it would be a better match once dry & sure enough, it's a perfect match to the existing wall grout. The color we had originally picked regarding the grout would have been too light. It's been a few weeks now since completion of the work & the shower floor looks like it's been there from the beginning, it blends perfectly with the existing tile/grout. Dmitri & his staff were super to work with from the onset & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks. The level of service & attention paid to what many would consider to be a very small project was next to none. Dmitri did a site visit before starting the work, and also the day after the work was completed. If you have a tiling project big or small don't hesitate to give these experts a call, you won't regret it. A as side note, They are great with follow up work, we had asked Dmitri to order a special order water stopper for our glass shower door which we could find in the big box stores & Dmitri hand delivered it to us as soon as it arrived. Originally I thought this process would be stressful, but seeing how simple & wonderful the process was, I won't ever worry again should another tiling project pops up & without hesitation I will call Dmitri & his team. Thank you guys for fixing our shower & making it look like new again!

There are literally no words to describe how good these guys are. From the moment I called Dimitri to the end of the project they were always accessible and always responsive. They are professionals. They are considerate. They are clean - even my wife found them to be clean. They work well with other trades people. They are perfectionists. Sasha, one of the partners, is an amazingly hard worker. We had 3 major projects they worked on for about 1 month. Kitchen: They replaced our kitchen tile. In doing so, they also replaced the 50 year old subfloor. There was a lot of debris from the demo that went into our laundry room in the basement but everything was vacuumed and cleaned up as if nothing had happened. They had to remove our fridge, dishwasher, gas stove and island. Everything was protected and put back in its place. The floor looks amazing and is much more sturdy now. Nanny bath: Our nanny's bathroom was leaking all over and Sahsa removed all the tile, drywall and flooring. They then rebuilt the shower from the ground up. They also repositioned the shower head so it wouldn't leak out anymore. We were extremely pleased with the way this project turned out. Master Bath: This project was a serious undertaking. They took the bathroom down to the studs in many places. They rebuilt our shower, they created a custom niche, they installed a new jetted tub, they installed a new vanity and they installed perfectly some very expensive tile. These guys know what they are doing. One of the biggest things they helped with was initially with our design choice and selection. They were extremely patient in helping us think through the whole project. I would not hesitate to use Dimitri and Sasha again. They have a qualified team that works with them, but they oversee everything. Sasha was at our house 95% of the time work was being done, and doing much of it himself. We changed our minds a few times during the project, thereby changing the scope, but Dimitri and Sasha were very patient. They understand that this is your home and works as if it was their home. In terms of cost, I think you get what you pay for and sometimes you get more. The work they do is difficult and requires skill. They are not the cheapest, but they are also far from he most expensive. I would classify their cost as fair, but when you take into consideration the level of professionalism, care and quality, I think you are getting a very good deal. You also can not put a price on peace of mind - when they do work, the work is done immaculately. I really can not say enough good things about this team.

I recently contracted Dmitri to install tiles on my bathtub wall surround and floor. It was a running bond pattern with tiles of different sizes. Dmitri is great with communication and explanation, he desires to see your job done well with his company. His installer Vlad is the most talented tiler I've seen, 12 x 24 tile was installed perfectly at an astounding speed. I have worked in the trades and can fully recommend this company. My project had a few issues and regardless of whose fault each was, the company was there to discuss them and reach a fair solution. I am overall very happy with the outcome.

We recently had new tiles installed on the main floor including the kitchen backsplash. Dmitri was very pleasant and helpful and made suggestions along the way. I found Dmitri through this website and decided to have him over to have a look at our kitchen backsplash in our new home that was not installed yet. Dmitri was well educated in the field and provided the best possible look for what we were looking to do. He clearly advised us "I don't simply do anything you want done, I will advise what looks good as well". He was punctual the day of the install and him and his helper prepped the entire area from front door to kitchen, to minimize any messes. The job was completed relatively fast and the end product is amazing, we couldnt be happier. Dmitri even came back the next day for a final coat of sealer to finish off the look and cleaned the entire kitchen as well once done. Not one thing left for us to clean! We could not be happier and will definately be using Dmitri again for our wall fireplace and eventually, all bathrooms when the time comes for an upgrade. Use Tilestars without hesitation, you won't regret it!

My basement was heavily flooded due to weather conditions last year that blew out one of my pumps outside. This led to severe damage in my basement as baseboards were completely ruined in addition to the wall paint. After I had met Dmitri through a shower fixture he had completed for me, I was 100% sure that his team could do the job. They came in just a week after my first call and gave me the estimates immediately. They were able to finish the work in just 2 days. The basement now looks thoroughly new after months of damage! Dmitri and his team are professional and accommodating, I defimitely recommend their service!

Dimitri and his crew did a great job. They said that taking out the old tiles and putting in new ones in our kitchen, hall and washroom would take 5 days and it only took 3. They were clean and neat and kept the rest of the house from being covered with dust. They made it possible for us to stay in the house while the work was ongoing. The results are beautiful and I can' t think of anything that wasn't perfect. They were not cheap but we got what we paid for.

It was with great trepidation that I approached replacing the existing cushion vinyl floor in our kitchen with porcelain tiles. It took several months for me to decide and I interviewed several contractors. I’m very happy that we went with Tile Stars. Dmitri and his partner, Sasha, were attentive to every detail, including marble transitions between the kitchen and dining room, and also between the kitchen and hallway, which has a different tiled floor. They took care in preserving existing toe kicks at the bottom of the cabinets. They took time repainting quarter round. In fact, they showed meticulous craftsmanship and pride in doing top-notch work. Sasha was very helpful with design advice. We almost made the mistake of laying the 12x24 inch tiles in the wrong direction. This job was accomplished in one week as promised. Our kitchen really shines now. I will be recommending them to anyone who has a tiling job to do.
