I just had Dmitri, Vladimir & Chris install a new backsplash and I must say they were wonderful to work with. I'm extremely fussy, which I always state from the get go, and they took it completely in their stride. They arrived on time and proceeded to do their work paying careful attention to even the smallest detail. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to do tile work.

Dmitri and his team were amazing. They did a quality job (and I have really high standards) with no surprises other than amazing customer service, responsiveness, professionalism and reliability (all too rare these days). Although mine was a small job, they treated it like it was a major project for a really important client. I would totally recommend them to family and friends in the future.

Last year we pulled up our basement shower floor to fix some plumbing. We've spent a year trying to find someone to relay the shower seal and tile. Quotes ranged from $800 to $14,000 and twice we had disappearing contractors who later admitted they didn't have the expertise to do the job. Finally we turned to Homestars (why did we wait?) and found Dmitri and his TILESTARS team. A mere ten days later, the job is done (two working days) and done perfectly, for a very reasonable $1750. He's responsive, does very high quality work, and keeps his promises. Followed up after both days to make site it all worked out. Incredibly thorough. Not a bargain basement price, but definitely reasonably priced and worth the bit extra.

We contracted Tilestars to install our kitchen backsplash. Dimitri conducted himself in a very professional manner with lots of tiling experience. He provided us with some consultation and suggestions on how to handle the project and we went ahead based on his design and expertise. The project started precisely on the date that we agreed and the project was completed exactly on the date Dimitri had promised. The entire crew was very clean and we are very impressed with the quality of work. Will highly recommend Dimitri. Thanks for a great experience.

We worked with Tilestars to renovate our bathroom. Dmitri and his crew did a very professional job. They really paid attention to the details, including creating a custom threshold. Tilestars was flexible and accommodated our evolving renovation timeline, even coming back after the job was done to add extra tiles necessary for glass installation. In addition, Dmitri has a good network and was able to recommend other tradespeople, such as an electrician and make general helpful recommendations about completing the job.

We had a very tight timeline to get a kitchen renovation completed. Dmitri was very helpful and worked with us and our other contractors to get the floor tile installed in time for the cabinetry installation and countertop installation to meet our timelines. Afterwards, he was very accommodating in working with us in getting the backsplash installed. He has excellent recommendations on tile choices and is willing to work with you within your budget, offering suggestions to keep costs down. We have recommended his company to our friends and would not hesitate to use him again when we are ready to renovate our bathroom!

My wife and I decided to have a backsplash installed in our kitchen - eight years after moving in. My only regret with calling TILESTARS this summer was waiting eight years to do it!! Dmitiri was a real pleasure to deal with. His responsiveness and friendliness each time I contacted him was a real breath of fresh air! After dealing with countless contractors and tradesmen throughout our home renovations, working with Dimitri and the team at Tilestars has been a breath of fresh air. From the initial consultation with Dimitri to the actual installation with Sasha and the team, we couldn't be happier. They showed up on time, finished ahead of schedule, were very friendly and courteous yet very professional. When asked to change a couple of pieces they didn't hesitate and changed them happily. It was truly evident that they strived for 100% satisfaction, which we most certainly are! The end product looks fantastic and the process couldn't have been smoother! Very, very happy with our decision to go with Dmitri and his team. From the get-go, Dmitri was great and easy to work with. During the initial consultation, Dmitri made some great suggestions (fixing some of the casing before starting the tile work, not putting the backslash on a return wall, etc); we took his advice and were very glad we did. Overall, the consultation was smooth and helpful. On the scheduled day of work Vlad and Vlad showed up and did an excellent job. Very respectful, very friendly, and very good at what they do. We had a marble hexagon kitchen back-splash installed, which is not an easy job. Worth every penny to have experienced professionals do the job. Vlad and Vlad put in a lot of hard work and got the job done within the day. Excellent attention to detail. Vlad also asked me a few questions at times about how I wanted to proceed in certain situations before just going ahead - that is very important to me, and I am glad that he asked. Vlad also was a lifesaver and drove me up to the tile shop to pick up more tile when it was realized more was needed (my fault for not having enough). Dmitri also stopped in to have a look and check on progress. Dmitri came by the next day to put the final coat of sealant on and give a final inspection. He also walked us through maintenance and made it clear that we shouldn't hesitate to call him if we have any questions - in my mind that is excellent customer service. We were very happy with the outcome of the job, and the the kitchen looks amazing now. I would recommend Tiles Stars to anyone, and look forward to having Dmitri, Vlad and Vlad back at my house for future tile work when the time comes.

We found Dimitri on Homestars and he was fantastic....they even finished our job ahead of schedule. His crew spent time with us making sure we were satisfied with our tile layout and we couldn't be happier.
