We are from out-of-province and hired Egbert to do our home inspection based on his strong reviews online. He certainly lived up to them!! While we were planning on flying in, due to COVID, we decided last minute to attend the inspection “virtually”. Egbert was super flexible and spoke with us via either the phone or video-call for the entire 3 hours so he could walk us through the entire inspection. He was professional, personable, thorough, and so knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and armed us with lots of information so we felt well informed on the home as well as how to maintain it in the future. He also alerted us to a potentially huge ($$$) issue and informed us on how to investigate further before deciding to remove our conditionals. Egbert has our highest recommendation.

Egbert knows his job well. He made our home inspection fun. He is professional guy & knows all crucial aspects of home inspection. I definitely recommend this guy. He took his time and inspected throughly and also entertained us with his sense of humour. another thing, do not forget to tell him a joke.

We met Egbert 10 years ago when we moved into our first home. Now that we've found a 'forever' home, we decided to call him up again. We hired Egbert in order to inspect our first home. We liked all the work done during the inspection. He tested everything expected for a inspection and provide fair and acurate feedback. The report was ready in the same day. He has all the necessary and probably required tools to run the tests. I highly recomment if you're a first time home buyer to stay during the 3 hours inspection aprox. You could came up with question and will learn lots of things for your future house. I want to thank Egbert for providing me not one but two home inspections this summer. Reason for the second, was that he provide a detailed inspection on the first that allowed me to make the decision to pass on the home and keep looking. Egbert was quick and easy to book both times around. Allowed me to stay side by side through the process and provide excellent explanations and a very detailed report upon completion.
