Refrigerator repair
On Saturday afternoon I came back home from an extended vacation and found that our fridge had stopped working while we were away. It was hot inside both the fridge and freezer and most of our food was spoiled, but I wanted to repair the fridge ASAP so I used both the Yellow Pages and online and called all around to the local repair shoppes. I called about 7 local places before I called High Tech Appliance, and although they are downtown Toronto (quite far from me) I called anyway because I had read a few good reviews. I got an answer right away and Atiar told me that he had another job in my area anyway (I would be the 2nd one), so I made the appointment, which was for ~7pm. To my amazement their technicians showed up before 6pm and had fixed the fridge and were out the door before 6:30pm, and although the cost was a bit higher than I had expected (based on reviews), the little extra I paid for the special 'service' of coming in early on a cold Saturday evening was likely worth the few extra dollars, especially since they also provided a bit of an extension on their standard 30 day warranty as part of the deal.
I would recommend them to anyone who likes service with speed by knowledgeable and courteous techs.
