    Gas Stove Repair

    I called Atiar because my gas oven did not light and we booked an appointment for the very next day. He arrived on time and was very pleasant and polite. He explained exactly what the problem was and how to fix it - a new igniter was required. He had the new part on hand and it was fixed within 30 minutes. I heard Atiar on the telephone diagnosing problems that people were calling him about - of the 3 calls he received, he told 2 people that it was not in their best interest to repair and that it would be cheaper for them to buy a new appliance. He could easily have taken their money but instead he gave them good advice for free. If you want an honest and hard working appliance repair person, Hightech is the company you should call! Thank you Atiar.

    Dishwasher installation

    Atiar was very helpful in recommending a model and installing it after I purchased. He angled the dishwasher slightly away so it wouldn't leak. He was reliable in both timeliness and efficiency of installation and fair priced. thanks Atiar

    Fridge repair

    We contacted Apiar for a part installation of our fridge and he arrived later the same day and was very polite. When he arrived and saw the fridge and parts he told us that they were the wrong parts that we had ordered. This was the error of the parts company. He charged us $60 for the 5 minutes he was there and said he would return to install the correct one. A week later, new parts arrived and he came to the house promptly a day later. On arrival, he told my husband that he was not able to install the parts in the fridge as he did not have the correct tools. This was a huge oversight on his part not to have figured that out on the first visit.He did install the new dishwasher and only charged $60 rather than $100. The fridge issue was dissappointing enough that I would not use this service in future.

    Fridge Repair

    I called Atiar on a Sunday morning to repair our fridge that had water leaking inside. A few hours later, he showed up! He explained to us and showed us what had caused the leakage, and how he was going to do the repair. He's very professional, thorough and neat. It has been more than a week since the repair, and our fridge is working great! We're happy with his service, and the price is very reasonable.

    Fridge Repair

    I called and spoke to Atiar right away. Even though it was Saturday, he was able to come to deal with my fridge that was not cooling - he was even able to call me and come earlier than planned. Service was friendly, professional. Two parts needed to be replaced and it was dealt with quickly for $240. A service call is $50, but this was not charged on top of the work that he did.

    Gas stove repair

    I called Atiar after reading positive reviews of his company's service on this website. He answered my call in the evening and set an appointment date for the next morning. He was prompt and efficient. He corrected the problem with the gas igniter and the stove is now working. I would definitely call his service again when I am in need of appliance service repair.

    gas oven ignition replacement

    When i call I spoke with live person on the phone, I set the appontment for the same day even though after working hourst. The ignition for the gas oven was replaced imediately, and after the test with the oven if works properly the mechanic lef my house. I'm please with the service

    Dishwasher repair

    I called Atiar at Hightech this morning and he arrived within a few hours to repair my dishwasher. He found an electrical short that could have caused a fire, fixed it and told me what I should say to the manufacturer when I called. I was very grateful for his expertise, willingness to explain everything and friendliness. I will definitely use Hightech Appliance Service for all my appliances and recommend Atiar to my friends.

    Fridge repair, water line leaking

    Great service, prompt and very fair pricing. Would definitely refer this company. My fridge is an LG and most companies don't fix LG because LG won't sell them the parts. I called LG for service and they were going to send me another company (which only had a 1.7 stars on homestars). I refused to accept that company and thank goodness I found Atiar. He was quick to respond and his price was much cheaper than what LG was going to charge me.

    Refrigerator not working right

    Called Hightech to fix my fridge that had the freezer fan that would work intermittently and leaving contents thawing. Atiar came right on time and was extremely detailed in his explanation of possible problems. His diagnosis was more time consuming because my fan decided to choose that hour to work. Instead of leaving me with unclear solutions, he ran further tests and isolated the problem out to the controller board. He even gave me a choice of waiting to fix the problem if I didn't feel like spending on it or getting to the fix asap .. no pressure or up-selling. I appreciated his detailing me on the problem, and went with having him fix it. The job was done very efficiently and the space was left clean. Addendum: The refrigerator still didn't turn out to work quite right (not Hightech's fault but my fridge was on its last gasp) - called Hightech on a Sunday to see if it could be checked again. Atiar came promptly the following day despite not getting the part from GE (it was discontinued). While most techs would have called and given up, Atiar still came to see if it would work with something similar. To top it, he refused any money for the follow-up service call or the replacement part. It's not often that a contractor/tech takes such pride and ownership of my problem; and I felt that the least I could do is post an edit in appreciation.
