    appliance repair

    Our refridgerator stopped working so I called a list of 5 companies and Atiar was the first to answer his phone. He came promptly, fixed what he thought was the initial problem, fixed another problem but it still didn't work. Instead of charging us for 2 parts and time he didn't charge anything and told us buying a new appliance would be expensive enough - amazing service thank you very much!

    Dryer repair

    I called Atiar at High Tech Appliance based on reviews from Homestars and I wasn't disappointed. He came over right away and fixed the problem. No telephone tag, no BS. Great service! Highly Recommended!!

    Fridge repair

    Despite being unsuccessful in repairing our fridge this company should be commended for its honesty and integrity. Not only were we refunded in full for the repair cost and part, we were also refunded the call out fee.

    Fridge Repair

    Atiar was quick to follow-up even after a few back-forth emails and phone calls and he came on the weekend to repair our fridge. The fridge wasn't cooling, but the freezer was staying frozen. A couple of months earlier we unplugged the fridge and and let it thaw out. That fixed the problem for a little while, but then the fridge section started warming up again. Atiar opened up the freezer section and replaced the thermostat and replaced the circuit board in the fridge section. So far everything is working well. I appreciated Atiar's ability and patience to explain the issue to me.

    Refrigerator repair

    Our relatively new fridge broke down and Atiar came by and assessed the problem quickly. He was quite honest with us and said the problem was a freon leak and that we'd be better off just junking the fridge and getting a new one. The cost of repair, he said, just wasn't worth it and he even WAIVED THE SERVICE CALL FEE! We didn't pay a cent for his service. Incredulous, I even called another service guy to double check before I went ahead a bought a new fridge. The next guy came to the same conclusion but charged us (of course). Anyway, I just wanted to say: Atiar is the Man!

    Clothes Dryer

    Called HTAS as my dryer was taking 3-4 cycles to dry a single load. They informed me over the phone that it was likely a lint clog and that I could clean it and save myself a call. I asked them to come and take a look. Atiar came over, confirmed his suspicion and again gave me the option to clean it myself and save money, or he could do it for a set fee. Having never done this myself, I asked him to do it. He took apart the dryer, completely cleaned it up (including the external vent), put everything back together, cleaned up the area, and made sure the dryer was in working order before he left. Moreover, I asked him to take a look at my dishwasher and he politely informed me that considering one of the cycles worked I should keep using it as-is until it dies, as replacing the circuit board is more expensive than buying a new dishwasher. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and real service - highly recommend!

    GE Profile gas stove repair

    Atiar's great reviews here prompted me to call him, and he lived up them. My gas oven in my stove was not lighting (though the broiler worked). I called at 10 am; Altiar was here, as promised, at 2:00 pm and done by 3:00. He explained what the problem was, and why (gas oven igniters have a limited lifespan, so after 8 years, this one was due); he had the parts with him and fixed it on the spot; and it comes with a 30-day warranty. Excellent, professional work. I now have a new go-to guy for appliance repairs. Highly recommended.

    Washing machine problem

    My washing machine broke down one morning. Called High Tech Appliance service and they sent someone at my house the next morning. Atiar Rahman. He was very friendly and professional. He immediately saw the problem, went to get the parts in his van and in 15 min, my washing machine was working again !!! Thanks !!! He did a great job !!!!

    Stove Repair

    We'd had a cleaning service (who were excellent) clean our home after my foot surgery. While they were cleaning the stove, they used excessive water to clean the microwave and stove and the stovetop no longer worked. I called High Tech Appliance and Atiar came same day to diagnose the repair (spark module). He came the next day with the part and fixed the stovetop within an hour. He was honest, helpful, pleasant and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend Atiar and call High Tech Appliance Service again if we have any issues with our appliances in the future. Thanks Atiar - you were a lifesaver going into a long weekend!

    Refrigerator Repair

    Real professionals. I called at 09:00 on a Sat morning of a long weekend because my freezer wasn't working and someone came by 1:00 that afternoon. It had just been fixed six months before by a different company but they did it completely incorrectly with wrong parts. High Tech's team explained everything, showed me the problem and fixed it properly. Would definitely use them again.
