I called for service expecting long delays, but and I was pleasantly surprised how quick the response was. The technician was punctual both times he came over to the house and he made the repairs within 24 hours. Highly recommended!

Friday afternoon during the christmas holidays with a load in the dryer it died on me... Call a few top contractors from home stars and HT appliances was able to come to my house and fix itin an hour... He was very helpful, knowledgeable and did the job in a very professional way! Would definitely recommend it

He repaired and installed my Bosch dishwasher. I called several companies but they do either repair or installation. But I need someone to do both jobs. Fortunately, he can do repair and install dishwasher. I feel that he knows very well about appliance. Also, the cost was reasonable.

Wow! Atiar was the only one who answered my call and came out the same day. He even arrived earlier than he said he could come. He hoped he could fix it relatively economically by changing a relay, but warned me that if that didn't work it was a serious compressor issue. He came back promptly the next day to install the relay, but ultimately concluded the compressor had had it and wasn't worth my while to replace. He recommended I purchase a new refrigerator because it would cost the same as replacing the compressor. He refunded my fee as he wasn't able to repair the problem!!! I phoned him back to inquire whether I should proceed with an expensive repair since I was having trouble finding an in-stock fridge I could get in a hurry, he still recommended I buy a new one because I would get a better warranty. Atiar from High Tech Appliance installed my new Over the Range Microwave. Fast same day service, reasonable rates, and arrived on time. I will highly recommend him to anyone needing install or repairs.

There are a lot of technicians in the city that have certifications, etc., however, how many technicians do you know out there that are actually mechanical/electrical engineers from a well known university? Atiar is one! Story of an immigrant - an engineer forced to do appliance repair work, however, it bodes well for customers to have an engineer diagnosing what is wrong with their appliances with a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical/electrical work. Our fix was simple, we needed a new drain pump, but he was thorough in his work and we are happy to report that the washing machine is working as good as new. I was happy to see him enjoy his work and enjoyed hearing him say that he likes complicated - challenging problems so he can practice some engineering skills. I hope him all the success in his business and highly recommend him! Price was very reasonable as well.

Atiar quickly responded to my call for help with a KitchenAid fridge that was not cooling. He was clearly knowledgeable, responsive and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a timer/compressor issue. He warned us that as the appliance was more than 10 years old his repair was likely to fail. It did fail within 48 hours but he came out to inspect the unit. He confirmed his assessment. He refunded our payment. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

My tenants told me that the coin machine was not working in the laundry room at one rental property. Atiar from High Tech Appliance Service was one of the few techs to return my call quickly as it was a couple days before Christmas, and the only one that sounded experienced fixing coin-op machines. He arrived on time, found the problem and fixed it fast, suggested how to prevent happening again (tampering with machine). The price was fair and he was polite and pleasant. Also Atiar remembered me when I called about something else. Thanks!

Atiar was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and did an excellent job on the install. He was easy to reach by phone prior to the work being done, arrived on time and finished in the amount of time he quoted us. He's also a very nice and honest guy. I would highly recommend him for any dishwasher installation. 10 out 10.

I noticed that my GE front load was leaving puddles in my laundry room after various washes over the past few weeks culminating with a complete shut down of the washer itself (stopped working completely). This led me to give High Tech Applicance Service a call based on the overall positive reviews found here on Homestars plus some of the prior reviews indicated that same day service was available. I called at 10am on Fri Dec 28 and Atiar was at my house by 4pm same day. He diagnosed that the door gasket was ripped (I never even noticed) plus the lock mechanism on the door was malfunctioning (I did notice this as it didn't sound like it was locking/latching properly to allow the wash cycle to start). Atiar's diagnosis took roughly 20 mins and he advised that he would have to check the parts supplier for parts plus costs of. He advised that he would find out first thing Saturday morning and give me a call to confirm whether I wanted to proceed or not. I had commited that I would go with him regardless as he was genuine and professional both when I spoke to him initially on the phone and when I met him in person. Sure enough, Atiar called me at 9:30am Sat to confirm the availability and costs for a new door gasket and door lock mechanism and said he would be at my house by 10:30am. Total repair time to replace both gasket and lock was just over an hour. He took his time to explain and to show me exactly how to do the repair in case I ever needed to do it myself down the road. After the repair he took the time to run the machine to ensure his workmanship resolved the initial problems based on his diagnosis. Work is warranted for 30 days. As i mentioned, Atiar was professional throughout and genuinely appears to be a very honest and nice gentleman. I would not hesitate to recommend his work to others. Very satisfied on overall timeliness, commitment, and quality of work. My repair costs may seem higher compared to other reviews but I had to pay for two parts plus labour. I have validated that the costs are very fair. More importantly, the customer service was impeccable. Thank you again, Atiar!
