    Refridgerator Repair

    I came home at 4 pm and my fridge was melting. I made a call to Hightech and was promised a tech between 6-8 pm. He arrived at 6 pm, found a loose connection to the circuit board, fixed it and was done! I was only charged $20 for the repair and I was given a 30 day warranty. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of the service from Atiar Rahman. Would recommend him highly.

    dryer repair

    Our tenants' dryer stopped working. I called High Tech Appliance, as our last guy has retired. All went well - reliable, quick service, flexible times. We will use them again - no question. Strongly recommended!

    dishwasher repair

    I asked for an early appointment but since his technicians did not start until 9 am, George came himself. The problem turned out to be minor but he gave the dishwasher a thorough cleaning which it definitely needed. Thanks George!

    Thermador Oven Repair

    Atiar was knowlegdeable, dependable, careful and kind. All expectations were met and we are extremely pleased that Atiar was able to repair our stove. I would not hesitate to refer Atiar to friends and family and we'll be sure to call High Tech Appliance for any future needs we have.

    Fridge not cold

    Our 5 year old Samsung fridge stopped cooling after a power surge. We called George and he was prompt to come to our home and assess the problem. Although the problem occurred during the weekend, George was willing to take the time to come seeing as it was a very urgent problem. He provided excellent customer service and I would highly recommend this company.

    Over repair

    I originally called a company listed on Homestars as AM Appliance and spoke to George who advised me that they have two companies which are one of the same - AM Appliance and High Tech Appliance. This should have been a red flag for me as the confusion began this early on my mission to hire a reliable, competent and honest repairman. He instructed me to call him on a different number than the one listed on Homestars moving forward and so I did. I have a few clients whose stoves I was trying to get fixed. One a gas stove and the other an electrical one. I got a quote how much it would be to fix the gas stove but what's scary is that when I called them at a later time, I was told that they didn't have any technicians trained on gas stoves. That was red flag #2. Needless to say, their lack of professionalism reflected in their communication etc, my client wisely enough chose not to move forward with using their service. As for the electrial stove, I played phone tag with George for quite some time after he told me: how much it would cost to fix the electrical stove, how much the parts were and the fact that he would be going in to do it on weekend. That weekend came and George was nowhere to be found. I called him for a few days in a row. His phone was turned off. When I finally callled back the original phone number to AM Appliance, my conversation with the person on the phone was just scary. They had no record of me. They stated they didn't fix gas stoves. They would not tell me their name after I asked them who I was speaking to more than half a dozen times. I was yet again given a 3rd phone number of an Atiar who I should contact to resolve the issue. Atiar sounded just like George and instructed me to contact him on the same phone number as George's? I was completely devistatingly confused but I just wanted the job done. Even though this was my red flag #4 by now?? Finally 'George' or 'Atiar' or whomever it was that went in, replaced the parts on the electrical stove. I thought the nightmare was over however my final surprise was when I received an invoice billing me for double the time than what I was promised. I attempted to raise my concern however, it went unrecognized. I am paying them the price billed but I would not under any circumstance recommend this company to anyone. They are dishonest and represent everything that give contractors and repairmen a bad name. Update: they did allow me to pay the amount that was promised to me in the end however this does not take away from the fact that the entire experience was a very unnecessarily stressful and confusing one.

    Refrigerator not cooling

    I wish to thank Atiar for a prompt service on my fridge that was no longer cooling. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, gave me a reasonable quote, and was able to fix the issue right there and then. What a relief as I just did groceries and my fridge was full! Thank you.

    fridge didnt work

    my fridge didnt work ....n technician came on time he was so presentable, he fix the problem quickly n manage do not so many task ata time ....n fix every single problem

    Dryer not heating

    My Dryer wasn't working Properly so I called the Hightech Appliance Service and therefore a technician came to my place within one hour. After he came, he fixed the Dryer in a very short period time. He knew what was the problem with the machine and he seem to be very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He successfully answered all my questions about the problem and I would recommend him for other services.

    Stove repair

    Two of our stoves stopped working which needed to be fixed in a hurry. Atiar Rahman was very prompt in responding. He was friendly and had us up and running well ahead of our deadline. I will not hesitate to use his service again.
