Patrick and his team just left after a major reno and they were just amazing. We originally received an estimate from Patrick last year and took a long time deciding how much work we were going to get done. We called him back 12 months later and he honoured his initial price, worked with our dates (super flexible!) that could fit with all the other trades working on the full house reno. They are punctual, courteous, extremely helpful (thank you guys for helping with all the furniture replacement on the last day) and the floors look stunning. They cleaned up and did the touch-ups on a Saturday morning, worked through rain and snow in February and were patient with delays due to the the other work going on. You can't do better than these guys - they refinished our old oak bannister and railing, it looks brand new; removed carpet, tile and old hardwood and installed the new floors, always with a smile. We look forward to doing the basement with them next year and highly recommend them. Thanks Patrick!

Patrick, along with his team Doug & Korey did an amazing job replacing my carpeted stairs and installing hardwood throughout my home. They stained my stairs to match the hardwood floors and replaced the pickets on my staircase with wrought iron creating a unique style of my own. Patrick is trustworthy, professional and courteous. He and his team are efficient and cleans up at the end of the day. I will be hiring him again to install flooring in my basement.

Having used the services of Recovery Flooring before, we decided to call them for a quote on replacing the carpet in our family room. This job was a little tricky due to the hand railings that needed to be removed and reinstalled for this job. Patrick also picked up the hardwood from the store I purchased from. Once again Patrick and his team did an excellent job at a reasonable price. They cleaned up after completion and I was impressed by their hard work and dedication.

Patrick provide excellent ideas of what to do with our stairs. He did an amazing job of installing hardwood on all are rooms upstairs. And did a beautiful job of staining our stairs and changing our pickets and handrail. His work is very neat and always cleans up after the work is done each day. After the work was completed we called him to do some touch-up work on our stairs and he promptly answered our call and scheduled a convenient time when he could come by to do the job. We would be glad to recommend Patrick for any Hardwood installation or Stairs refurnishing.

We recently bought a home and wanted to get to refinish and stain its light oak floors to update the house's design. As the photos show, the flooring we had when we purchased the house was the original wood that was installed when the house was built years ago; areas with high traffic were considerably worn and we were hoping the refinishing would help conceal that as well. We reached out to a handful of hardwood refinishing companies on HomeStars, including Recovery Flooring. Patrick replied to our request and visited us promptly to give us a quote, which ended up being about $2,000 less than the next closest estimate. He appeared very knowledgable and ready to advise us on the best way to refinish the floors. While another company suggested we replace all of our home's flooring since it allegedly was too old to handle sanding and re-staining, Patrick assured us this was still an option and would be the more economic choice. When we decided to go ahead with Recovery Flooring, Patrick and his team promptly began working on the house, working from the early mornings. They were very hardworking, kind, capable, and patient--especially when we bombarded them with questions about the project! The group worked quickly without compromising on quality. Once they finished, they cleaned up after themselves and left the floors looking absolutely stunning! We highly recommend Patrick and his team and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any of our hardwood flooring needs!

Patrick and his team installed the hardwood flooring to our entire second floor, installed and stained new steps on the stair case, and installed baseboard throughout the main floor and second floor. They were able to stain the stairs to perfectly match the colour of hardwood, and also perfectly matched the shine of the varnish finish on the stairs to the floor, as well. Despite being so busy he kept to his promised time line to complete the job and they left no mess behind when they were done. His team was very helpful even helping us out with trimming closet doors, and baseboards, to fit nicely. Patrick and his team were very accommodating. He is very reasonably priced and he kept to the price he quoted us. I would recommend Patrick and his team, from Recovery Flooring, to anyone looking for good workmanship at a reasonable price. Patrick & his team did an excellent job in installing the hardwood floors & transforming our old carpeted stairs into a modern staircase. Patrick is a very honest & trustworthy guy. He & his team (Doug & Kerwin) exemplify the true meaning of professionalism. He works within our budget, gives suggestions to us & ensures their work is done professionally. Just a few days after the whole renovation was done, I accidentally dropped a a heavy candle holder unto the floor which created a dent. I called Patrick right away. And to my surprise, he & Doug really came back & fixed it for me for free... What an awesome guy. Patrick is as good a tradesman as you can find. He is very pleasant, completely transparent, reasonable, flexible and professional. His prices are very competitive, his work is excellent, he leaves the work area clean at all times and he stands by his work. It was surprising to see him work so meticulously and he holds his workers to his same standard. In addition, he made suggestions to us that we are glad we heeded. He was very kind in working around the scheduling mistakes of other contractors in our renovation. He was flexible and pleasant about it as well. He is extremely busy and sometimes difficult to get a hold of, but that is what happens when you have someone do such a great job - he is in demand constantly. I wouldn't think of using anyone else for future projects.
