I had seen aluminum decking at a home show and felt that it would be perfect for my new 15' x 30' covered terrace. As the deck would be located above a ground level four season sun room I really concerned about waterproofing. The channel built into the decking that would direct water away was a feature no other product could offer. I was pleasantly surprised, when i discovered, that Craft-Bilt could even supply the frame-less glass railing system that i was looking for. I am very pleased with the products and service I received .Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Railings for our Lewiston facility deck in Lewiston New York, overlooking the lower Niagara River. Railings are going in now and look good and we added LEd lighting as well. We will install the glass once the railings are all set and measured for the glass. Looking forward to a nice professional finish. Staff at Craft- Bilt have been very helpful and delivery has been excellent. Hope to do more work with them once this project is completed.Review from Customer of Craft Bilt Materials Ltd Customer of Craft Bilt Materials Ltd

Review left on 12 Apr 2017Rating: 5 out of 5New Craft-bilt deck, stairs, railing and cover
We were looking to replace our upper level deck with a new deck, roof and railings. We couldn't be happier with the results provided by Craft-bilt. We chose a grey deck, white railing and white insulated cover. The results have given us that "cottagy" back porch look that we were looking for. Since all of the product is aluminum, we will never have to paint it. From start to finish, the Craft-bilt service was excellent. The installers were very professional and did an amazing job!Answer from pro:
Hi Brian and Chris, Thank you for a nice review. Enjoy you brand new patio cover, railing, and decking for many years. Craft-Bilt Team.

Review left on 24 Mar 2017Rating: 5 out of 5Large balcony glass and picket railing
I had already installed the aluminum decking so ordered glass railing for the deck and picket railing for the stairs. It arrived well packaged but the trucking company damaged a hand rail, I marked it on the delivery papers, called Craft-Bilt and without any problems had a replacement delivered before I was even ready for it. For a DIY job the instructions are very vague but I called for clarification several times and the staff were always helpful and said they were working on a new set of instructions because they just started selling to the public. The railing is extremely sturdy and looks great we also installed the Craft-Bilt gate and led sconce lights. we are very happy with their products and customer service and highly recommend them.Answer from pro:
Glad you like Craft-Bilt railing! We'd love you to send pictures to info@craft-bilt.com As for the railing instructions, the updated guide is ready. Sorry it was not ready in time for your project. Take Care :-)

Review left on 7 Dec 2016Rating: 5 out of 5Product will last forever
Purchased the decking separtely from railing & framing and had it installed by a local contractor. If you are shipping this to your home, you must have two reasonably fit individuals to take it off the truck. The project involved a two tier deck with two flights of stairs. The upper deck forms a roof over a 80 square foot storage area so having a waterproof solution I wouldn't have to fuss with in 5 - 10 years was a technical requirement. Winnipeg sees up to +35C sunny days in the summer and -40C in the winter and vinyl solutions have seen mixed results here. The contractor (with no previous aluminum deck experience) did a great job. This could easily be a DIY job on a regular (rectangle) shaped deck. My nits are that using this product for stairs was tedious (plus the the instructions were "look at a picture"). Craftbilt should consider an special solution for stairs. I also had to hunt around for some drip flashing and eventually got something that worked at Roofmart. The product still gets an A as the final result was spectacular.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We are very impressed with the quality of Craft-Bilt materials and the craftsmanship of their installers. Our new deck is beautiful. Moreover, it is water-tight so the space underneath stays dry.Answer from pro:
Thanks Ron, Enjoy your new aluminum deck and railing. Craft-Bilt Team

Review left on 26 Oct 2016Rating: 4 out of 5Rimless glass railing
I installed a rimless glass rail around my deck as well as a picket railing down my 10 stairs. The product looks fantastic. Customer service was excellent - both order desk and shipping department. The written instructions were vague. The drawing of the post with glass was useless. It didn't show the detail of how the stops fit into it. It would help if each part shipped had identifying part numbers on them and those numbers were referenced in the assembly instructions. I found it odd that there is a lengthy YouTube video showing how sturdy the railing system is but not one showing installation. As long as it meets code, that's all that matters. Assembly tips would be much more helpful in a YouTube. John in NobletonAnswer from pro:
Hi John, Glad you figured it out! And thanks for your business :-) DIY is kind of new to us, and not a big part of our business. But you're right, so when things slow down this winter we will get around to updating the instructions. Thanks for your input!

Review left on 22 Oct 2016Rating: 5 out of 5New porch columns and railing
When our old porch columns (wooden) started to rot, we shopped around for replacements. Craft-Bilt had one of the best-looking all-aluminum products we found, and one of the best prices for the quality of the product. To top it off, installation was completed weeks earlier than we anticipated, in just a couple of days (to remove all the old columns, put up the new ones, and install new railing). The job was completed quickly and very professionally: the new columns look excellent, the installers were careful with the rest of the porch structure, and we look forward to enjoying the new railing for years to come.Answer from pro:
Hi Francois, Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy your new railing and columns.
