I found Krys on homestars.com, contacted him and he was in my basement giving me a quote that same day. He was real with me and even offered me some advice as I was not hiring a general contractor for the basement reno. Before he left I had already saved time and money on his suggestions. I hired him and my wife and I were very picky on dates for the completion of the job because we have a newborn and he made sure to respect those dates. The communication was great. The job was done in 1 day and with perfection. Krys only billed me after he returned unused wood and adjusted my initial quote by hundred of dollars. I have never met such an honest contractor in my life. I have recommended him to 4 people.

I contracted out my basement framing and subfloor install to KRYS Construction, their work was professional and completed within the time line and budget given. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of framing their basement or installing a subfloor.

After Krys framed my previous basement a few years ago, the result was so positive that this time around, I put the entire project in his hands, including installing a bathroom where there was no rough-in. The team he arranged were all wonderful to deal with and he had the timing of each step down to a science. The entire project was complete on time and as quoted. The hardest part of the entire project was choosing the paint, tiles and flooring :P Thanks again to you Krys, and your entire team!

We just had our basement framed by Krys Construction and his team and are extremely satisfied with his work and professionalism. Krys arrived on time and did the work in the time frame he quoted. Construction lasted just 2 days as promised and he left the site clean. Krys and his team were a pleasure to work with, the price was reasonable and he treats your project as it if was his home. We are very happy with the work and the additional contractors he recommended for other parts of the job. We had Krys and his crew complete our basement framing and subfloor. Kris was very informative and accommodating, and really knows his stuff. Krys only took 2 days to frame the entire basement, including all bulkheads (1000sq ft). He took the time when it was finished to walk us around the basement to show us all of the little things they did, and ensured that we were happy with the finished product. He is very honest and he and his team are very hard working. We also got money back because not all of the flooring supplies were used, Also, the work space was cleaned meticulously after each day, which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend Krys and his team.

After reading the reviews on this site, and obtaining a few different quotes, we decided to choose Krys Construction to complete our basement framing and sub floor. Krys provided us with a quick response with a very reasonable quote. The team showed up exactly when they said they would and finished the sub floor in half a day and all the framing the next day. They were friendly, professional, open to questions and cleaned up everything nicely. They worked hard and fast to complete the job- and everything turned out perfectly. Krys was knowledgeable on current Codes, provided suggestions on layout and next steps in basement completion. He also was very transparent with pricing. We hired Chris to frame our basement based on his reviews on Homestars. Chris and his crew were very timely, trustworthy, professional and courteous. His workmanship is incredibly good - you can tell he takes a lot of pride in it and he's not happy until everything is done right! After the framing was complete, we were so happy with result and with the experience we asked him to finish the rest of the basement. He did a fantastic job of the rest of the basement too. Every sub-contractor he brought in was meticulous and incredibly skilled, including his dad who did the trim, doors, etc. Our basement turned out exactly the way we wanted and we have been getting lots of compliments from everyone who sees it! Couldn't be happier with the job that Chris did in our basement! We were so impressed that we've now hired him to replace our deck too! Thanks Chris - an absolute pleasure working with you - what an amazing result!

I contacted Chris to do my basement framing. Chris showed up the next day for the quote and provided me excellent feedback on the layout. He also explained to me in details on the basement finishing steps. His quote was very reasonable with break down in material and labour cost. Chris and his team (4 people) showed up on time and finished the subflooring & framing in 2 days as committed. I'm extremely satisfied with the finished work. Chris was easy to work with, efficient and honest; he is a true professional and very passionate about his work. I highly recommend Chris to anyone for basement framing or finishing. Great Job!!!!!

I hired Krys Construction to finish my basement in May 2015. I received quotations from two other contractors and chose Krys due to his professionalism and knowledge of the work required. He proved to be reliable, on time and very thorough with his work. He addressed all issues and concerns I had throughout the process, and I felt like he took a personal interest in getting the job done to my satisfaction.
