    Did the Job

    Came in and did the job. My only concern was the coughing. Especially in today's pandemic, I was not comfortable going near the work area for a couple of days.

    Thank you for your review. Sorry I have to take blood thinner and that's one of the side effect coughing and I can't help it . But we sure did follow Covid protocol wearing mask and staying 6feet apart.

    First rate service

    Martin and Domenic were able to install a stainless steel liner in our chimney system and connect an existing wood burning stove which was fraught with challenges because of the confined space within which it is located. They didn’t let that get in the way of finishing the job and cleaning up afterwards. Will be using them back for a second chimney repair.

    Great service

    Martin is extremely knowledgeable and a master at his craft. Great service from his quote right through to his installation. Martin cares about his customers and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. I was so impressed with both Martin and Domenic’s professionalism and attention to courteous COVID regulations during installation. Definite recommendation!

    Chinmey sweep

    I was very pleased with the service from Joseph. He answered my questions in a kind and informative manner. Great customer service, it has been a good experience! And I will certainly recommend his service to anyone! Kudos MGG.

    Firewood insert installation

    Very good and professional job. Staff is very knowledgeable and honest. Everything is cleaned after job is done. Price is very reasonable. I have checked others company and no comparing. Will highly recommend. Thanks a lot! Will be this company client going forward.

    Fireplace inspection and cleaning

    Joseph and Dominic showed up right on time with appropriate safety gear. I took them down to fireplace and Joseph got started straight away on insepcting the chimney and giving it a clean. He gave me a direct and honest assessment of the damper's remaining lifespan, which I appreciated. They left the area around the fireplace spotless after they were done. I will call on them in future and would recommend MGG to others.

    Brick chimney sweeping

    I would highly recommend this company if you are thinking of having your chimney cleaned and inspected. Excellent price, Joseph and Dominic arrived on time, explained what they we’re going to do. Cleaned the chimney and smoke chamber and left zero mess. They were very informative, courteous. Candace in the office was very professional. Martin’s MGG Chimney Sweep is an excellent choice.     Drolet wood stove and ICC Excel metal chimney installation

    I contacted MGG chimney to provide a quote for a wood stove and prefab metal chimney installation. Martin responded immediately saying that he could provide a free written quote. He arrived the very next day at our house to help figure out a good location for the stove based on our needs and the specifics of the chimney installation and provided a written quote and asked us to order the stove and floor protection ourselves. After our stove arrived (we chose a Drolet brand, and ordered direct from the manufacturer in Quebec), he promptly scheduled the installation date and time. Martin, Joe and Domenic arrived on time and got straight to work. They were extremely respectful, cooperative and worked safely at all times. It was an absolute pleasure to witness their workmanship, as can be attested in the photos. Martin ran a burn test on some newspaper to check the draft from the chimney and verified that the system worked ok. I cannot comment on the chimney cleaning service yet as it is a brand new chimney. As a final note, MGG only uses ICC chimney brand (Made in Canada) and it has a lifetime warranty. This brand is only available to fireplace industry professionals i.e. not for sale via your corner hardware store. If you want honest, professional metal chimney & wood stove installation, that is reasonbly priced and DONE RIGHT by a W.E.T.T. certified company then I recommend MGG Chimney Sweep "sans reservations".     Chimney Cleaning

    Martin and crew were really awesome. On time, efficient, in and out clean and done. What really stood out was the customer service from Candice in the office. Polite, courteous and professional, she took care of our needs well !
