    New Energy Efficient Furnace

My Furnace stopped working one night in the Fall. After searching around for a decent company I came across an ad for Aire One. The price of a Lennox Furnace including installation was just the right price. The installer came in and removed the old furnace creating a minimal mess in the house. They then brought down the unit and installed with little or no damage to the house (which was great). Its great to have heat again and they made it easy.

    tankless water heater

Great service! The price is reasonable comparing with other shops in the market. Installation is good and quick. But hard to say about the after sale service yet. Will keep you guys posted.

New furnace - but short cycles

Too much NEPOTISM for a consumer to get anywhere in terms of service because they get the sale and it ends there! Sales Rep was quick to sell new furnace - Slow to provide any customer service. Furnace short cycles but they refuse to do anything about it - they said my 80 year old house was just too old. We were told that there were over 30 installers and 8 offices - never mentioned that it is a franchise owned by family and previous workers. This particular franchise only has one service man, one installer and an assistant and the sales rep is somehow related to the owner. They presented well in the beginning and it went down hill from the moment I signed the work order. The installation was delayed a day (I had to take another day off work), the installer was not told to arrive at the scheduled time, they left a mess in the furnace room, did not tape the ducts properly. I gave the two installers lunch, snack, coffee and they give me a 12 inch piece of metal tape to seal any areas that I saw needed to be taped! We had to seal all the duct joints that the installer left untapped and used almost all the metal tape roll that we bought at Rona. When we noticed that the furnace was short cycling the sales rep washed his hands of the matter and sent the installer he said that the installation was done perfectly - but of coarse he would - it’s HIS installation! After much insistence they sent the service man - he came very late at night and yawned his way into the many reasons he felt that the furnace was would not run long enough to maintain room temperature - never once went to the furnace room to examine the furnace or its' installation. The weather got warmer so we will now wait for the winter to come and get York involved and any other associations. I have never worked with such an unprofessional company in my life. NEVER will I recommend them - I cringe every time I see their ads in the mail - what a shame of a company!

    New Furnace

Sales rep was in to take the cash! He set up to have a mediocre installation and provided no customer service whatsoever - unless we paid extra for the service. NOT IMPRESSED BY THIS COMPANY. We had to have someone come in and adjust the job! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Quick and easy. Although it wasn't a rush job they were able to install the aplliances within 10 days of booking the job. Showed up when they said they would and worked until the job was done.

    Furnace and AC

The salesman was not pushy, he understood our needs. He explained everything thoroughly. Very clean installation crew. There was a minor adjustment needed to be done on the furnace they came @ 2:00 am after we called and took care of it right away, eventhough it turned up to be nothing major.

    new furnace installation

New furnace installed, wrong thermostat installed, took 22 hrs to correct this, yet only 2km from shop, due to improper slope on vent pipe, furnace kept shutting down, talked to owner and had no interest in my problem, had York and TSSA involved, eventually had proper slope on vent pipe and is working fine, feel free to contact me for the full story, (have emails) 905-725-1800 Postscript: Furnace installed in November, took 22 hrs to have it run properly due to wrong thermostat installed, and there was no pressure tag placed on furnace. In Jan. due to extreme cold, furnace would short cycle(would not run long enough to maintain room temperature),service, not sure what problem was, tried this and that, ordered new part, I was asked by York(manufacture to call another company) problem due to improper vent pipe installation (slope),advised to work with installer, due to cost and etc. after a number of calls and days installer came and corrected vent pipe, and place tag on furnace, date on tag is Jan.10/06,my problem started on Jan 15/07,furnace installed Nov.07,there correction to vent pipe was Feb.22,are these oversight? issue is not over.

Hello Rito, Sorry to hear you've had such an unpleasent experience with Aire One. Our service techs have daily schedules as do our install crews, so therefor it is difficult to have on demand service when problems occur unless its an emergency. We apologize for taking so long to address the problem and rectify a solution. Hopefully all is well now with your heating system, and if still experiencing problems dont hesitate at all to contact our Aire One Whitby office at 905-576-7600 for assistance. We are glad to help.

    heating

We should have known better right from the start. Our furnace failed and we needed to replace it immediately and took the first best price. It was one promise after another until I had to lose my temper and go into their showroom ranting when he had potential customers in there. Then I got service. Next time I'll get referrals before I make another major purchase.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you Steve. I value your comment and will try to make sure that incidents like this will not happen again. The management has approved a free maintenance for your furnace. We appreciate your feedback. Please contact us so that we can arrange for this complimentary service.
