I spoke with Tim and Jeff at the Home & Garden Show in Calgary with some unique needs. I needed a low maintenance front and back yard design for a home I had just purchased. My daughter Hannah has a progressive neurological disease and we had to move to a bungalow for accessibility as that year she became wheelchair dependent. I requested a quote for small gravel throughout the front and back yard, and a path from the front drive garage down to our portable fire ring so she could enjoy fires and smores like she used to. They agreed to take the job and said they could come in within my very small budget. Over the next few months of snow they emailed and called many times asking questions about colors, design etc and I kept saying if she can get to our portable fire pit I am happy as long as you dont go over budget. They started in May 2023 and it was at that point that they presented a plan that was so beyond my wildest dreams and very clearly about $45000.00 above my budget. This was followed by this statement. Twisted Rock wants to help so we are going to do all of the labour for free. We then reached out to our suppliers and shared Hannahs story and we are happy to report that your invoice is Zero Dollars. I cried. I am completely blown away by the kindness and generosity of Tim and Jeff at Twisted Rock and the professionalism and kindness of their entire crew. I am forever grateful to all of the suppliers who also donated their supplies and product to this project. They called it the Hannah Project and Tim and Jeff were the first to bring Hannah down the accessible path to her beautiful backyard. I invited the crew and all of the suppliers back for a BBQ and they came to share this amazing gift with us. I can not say enough good things about a Twisted Rock Terrascape. Thank you so much!!

We interviewed three different landscapers for our project in Canmore. Twisted Rock far exceeded our expectations from their open communication, easy accessibility and precise quoting came in on budget. Jeff and Will were on sight everyday and their entire crew was extremely professional. Daily clean ups and immaculate work made the whole project very enjoyable. The owners Tim and Paul walked us through the entire process and there weren’t any surprises. Not to mention the job was completed a week earlier than scheduled. We would highly recommend this landscaping company to anyone for their high quality workmanship. We would use them again and refer to anyone who asked

We hired Twisted Rock to complete the design and construction for our new yard based on the recommendation of a colleague. This was a large project that included construction of multiple walls. They had to deal with challenges including that we are the last new-build home in Tuscany, meaning the need to work in and around a mature established neighborhood. The professionalism of the crew is unparalleled. It was so fantastic to see consistency in the faces in our yard. They treated our property, the neighbor’s and the common areas with the utmost care and respect. There were a few twists and turns as we went through the project and the positivity and practicality of the team “on the ground” was appreciated. Their efficiency was astounding; they were amazing at planning and adapting to changing weather conditions to ensure the project proceeded as expeditiously as possible. Whenever we asked what the plan was for the days or weeks ahead, Jeff knew exactly what had to happen and when – and it did. Communication was prompt, thorough and accurate. We always felt heard and respected. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. They have consistently expressed their willingness to stand behind their work. We truly feel like we are now part of the Twisted Rock client family and know that they will be there for us should we need them in the future. The finished project exceeds our expectations on every level. When you work with Twisted Rock, they give you more than just landscaping – they create an outdoor experiential space which truly enhances your lifestyle. We were extremely happy with the final result, and everything looks amazing!! From start to finish, this is a first class company that truly cares for their customers and takes a tremendous amount of pride in their work. I was referred to Tim by my brother, and he was open and honest from the start about everything including what we could do, costs, how to maximize our budget, and was very thoughtful in putting together our ideas and his recommendations. The crew was fantastic, very friendly, helpful and skilled. I was able to meet Will, Dan and Kristin early in the process and they were fantastic! Jeff, of course was amazing managing the project and answering any questions we had during the process. They did a thorough clean after each day in all areas, especially on the walkway behind our home, which was appreciated and noticed by our neighbours. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design to anyone who wants the best experience in working with a landscaper in Calgary and surrounding areas. Thanks again guys!!

Our journey started with a coffee and scrap paper with Paul, where he asked good questions to help us start down the path to our best design for our family. That session led to several other meetings where Tim and Jeff attended and brought their construction perspective to ensure our design matched both physical possibilities and budget. I have to say, some of our asks where always fully explored and I'm sure Tim was getting tired of researching and planning some of our wants - so greatly appreciated! Our "near-final plan" was reached and that was followed by another on-site visit where Tim and Jeff did all required elevations and laid out their construction plan including equipment logistics, material staging and timing. The TR team made this an excellent experience and removed the stress that normally tags along with projects of this nature. Summer finally arrived and construction day came. We again were blown away with all the TR staff that worked on our project. Everyone was courteous, extremely conscious of their work behaviors and respected both our worksite and our neighbor's properties. They spent extra time to ensure fences where installed for the safety of our neighbor's children and there was not one issue with equipment or staff not being organized. The attention to detail, conversing with us on each phase and aligning their efforts to those discussions; made the construction phase a very rewarding and again "stress free" experience! One habitual task completed at the end of each day, was a complete clean-up of our site and any common property in-front of our house. This may seem small, but leaving all areas they touch in better shape than they found it at end of each day, is reflective of the high standard they hold themselves to and the product they deliver. Our last phase was to have the luxury of enjoying our outdoor space in a summer where it couldn't have been more important for our family dealing with this nasty pandemic! We made lots of precious memories enjoying the beach/water, fire pit and relaxing soaks in our tub. The quality of their work held true with every component from natural stone retaining walls, to water features, to fully automated sprinklers and capping it all with great accent lighting for the late night refreshments. Thank you Tim, Paul, Jeff and the rest of the TR Staff for a great experience and excellent final product!

Twisted Rock did our landscaping in Cranston Riverstone and did beautiful work. The team is super knowledgeable and responsive when we had any questions or concerns. They genuinely care about the client experience and I would highly recommend.

Wow! WE love our landscaping! Twisted Rock was absolutely incredible and professional to work with! From the beginning stages of a vision of what we wanted and Paul helping us design and enhance our project! Tim and Jeff were always available to answer questions throughout our project as well as their team respectful, hardworking and always left the project clean at the end of the day. I highly recommend Twisted Rock if you want a company who is honest, has integrity, knowledge, and ensures the work is done in a timely manner leaving you more than happy at the end of the project! We are very pleased with the landscaping outcome. Paul was very good at providing advice and bringing different features together in the plan showing us what went well together and what didn't. Tim and his team were very professional and has shown integrity in their work from making sure everything was done and measured perfectly to cleaning up afterwards. The project was completed in a timely fashion and they always respond to our questions within 24 hours. We got a lot of praises and compliments for our landscaping. We would definitely recommend Twisted Rock to anyone looking for landscaping work to be completed.
