    Panel upgrade, wiring clean up.

We tried for 3 estimates 3 years ago. One declined writing an estimate when asked twice, one was scared, the other never showed. All seemed allergic to the 1960's. We used the microwave with a long cord , and having to move the cord each time we opened the drawer. No room on the panel. Our niece and nephew mentioned Robart and Homestars. Rob estimated the next day after our call. The was new panel and rewiring efforts were done the next week. They tried to resist drywall cuts. Looking forward to phase 2 in time. Finally, people who embrace the 60's!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Cheryl for the review. The 60's were a great era for ungrounded electric wiring, cars and music. How could we resist getting in evolved with that...LOL

    Minor repair

I called up Robart Electric Friday morning with a minor electrical problem, hoping they could come that day.... and they did! The work appears well done. The technician, owner, and ladies in the office were all very kind and you can tell good customer service is important to them. I think I can be a pretty tough customer, but they impressed me! This was my first time using this company and I will be a repeat customer. The only negative I can say is that I did not know they charge mileage within the City.

    Answer from pro:

Donna, I thank you for writing a review of you experience. I am glad we were able to accommodate you in a timely manner. I try and let everyone know our rates prior to sending out technicians. Our travel charge is standard where ever the service call is. Have a wonderful evening Rob

    Electrical

I had 6 electricians quote my job. Robart were one of the more expensive but based on their knowledge, professionalism and the detailed quote they provided, I chose them. Rob (who quoted) actually noticed a code infringement on my kitchen plan, which we were able to change before our cabinets were ordered, which saved us a lot of trouble (and $). I found all the workers to be very friendly and professional as well as tidy and we are very happy with the finished work. The office staff were very tolerant when our project was delayed and went to great lengths to reschedule our work quickly.

Thank you Jenny. I am happy to hear your comments about our professionalism, cleanliness and workmanship, I'm very proud of my team. Yes some times were not the cheapest, but then again we live here, we can be found if there are questions, and we stand behind our projects. Thanks again Jenny

    Installation of electrical subpanel

Robart Electrical installed an electrical subpanel in my garage along with 2 x 220V outlets and 2 x 110V outlets for powering my woodworking tools. Their arrival was on time, the service was friendly and competent, the work was neat, accurate and professional. An excellent job. I was very pleased.

    Light installation, updating outlets

The electricians sent over to do some minor electrical work (and double check my husbands handiwork) were great. The house is old so the project took longer than expected, but the price remained very reasonable. They were able to work with our aluminum wiring and fixed some existing problems. I would use this company again for future project and recommend them to anyone looking for electrical services.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Jenna, Sometimes when we go in to "double check husbands work" things escalate. I'm glad we didn't find anything serious. Rob

    Panel Upgrade

The team at Robart Electrical upgraded my panel on one of the coldest days this year. Nathan and Darcy were very helpful, polite, and informative. Nathan helped me coordinate with EPCOR when they would come and restore power to the house and Nathan kept me in the loop in that regard. Brandon came out to install outside power outlets and was also very polite and informed. I would recommend this company to my friends and family and am already planning on discussing my kitchen upgrade with them.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Deb for the wonderful review. I keep asking the guys if it's to cold to work and they always say their OK. Must be true Canadians...LOL Rob

    Repair GFI outlets

The electrician showed up 30 mins early, was friendly and quick. The cost ended up being $200 less than quoted, which was of course very nice. One drawback is they do not accept debit or credit cards, only cash, cheques, or etransfers.

    Answer from pro:

In order to keep the costs to our customer down, we chose not to pay the high administration costs for credit cards. We have been told by customers that it is a small inconvenience for superb service at a reasonable price. I hope you can see our point. Have a great day Steve. Rob Swyrd

    Move Dryer outlet

Needed to move dryer to upstairs bedroom closet. Quick with estimate, did the work when they said they would, did an unobtrusive job running a new line from breaker box to new location through walls & floors, then came back to actually make the connections as soon as requested. Pleasant & friendly staff. Good clean-up. I would use these guys again.

    Answer from pro:

Yes Oto yours was a little unique but a joy to take on. I am pleased you submitted such a wonderful review. If we can be of service to you or your friends, please just call Rob Swyrd
