    Raccoon removal

We had what seemed to be a 30-tonne raccoon break into our attic recently. I called Urban Wildlife Control the next day and within 24 hours Keith arrived at our door. He immediately spotted where the raccoon had entered the house (before even speaking to me!) and swiftly put together a quote. I appreciated that everything in the quote was itemized--in one column, there was a list of mandatory measures that needed to be done to remove the raccoon and prevent it (or others) from returning. In the other column were preventative measures I could take to avoid having more animals living in my house in the future. He didn't pressure me at all and actually encouraged me to speak with my husband before committing to the preventative stuff. Once I gave him the go-ahead, he got to work (examined the attic, installed a one-way door, etc). When he returned two days later the raccoon was gone! Hooray! I appreciate everything Keith did to make this experience as seamless (and stress-free) as possible--and the 5-year guarantee definitely gives me additional peace of mind. If you're losing sleep because loud, annoying raccoons are partying in your attic at 2am, don't wait. Call Urban Wildlife Control now!!!!

    Bats in the Fascia

Expert service and knowledge of wildlife habits. Initial consultation revealed bats getting in where the fascia meets the brick. With the roof needing to be done it was suggested to wait until completed to seal entry points. All fascia and entry points were sealed and bat doors installed to allow bats to get out but not get back in. We had mice getting in the attic over the winter as well and we were told the sealing should alleviate this issue. Overall excellent company. Honest and efficient. High level of expertise. Highly recommend.

    mouse control

Time will tell whether the measures taken will control the entry of mice into our home, but the service was fabulous. He was able to identify two points of entry that were missed by a previous company. Keith was pleasant and helpful. He also fixed a vent and repaired a soffit which involved roof work at no extra charge. The 5 year guarantee is also a bonus as the previous company we used offered only a 3 month guarantee.

    Pest Control

There were sounds coming from the boarded up basement fireplace rough-in. When I described them over to phone to Keith, he immediately diagnosed raccoons. He set up an appointment with me, reached on time, and using his experience and some excellent equipment, immediately confirmed his diagnosis. I agreed on the spot to let him fix the problem. To cut a long story short, Keith managed to humanely relocate four baby raccoons and their mother while cutting out just a small 6 inch x 6 inch hole in my finished basement (that he fixed back). Professionalism and competence just "dripped" out of Keith and along with his wide variety of tools, he provides an unbeatable service. I strongly recommend him to anybody who has a pest problem.

    Raccoon removal

Our house has a number of roof and soffit Intersections which apparently makes for easy raccoon entry to the attic. Previously we had 8 of these entry points secured. This spring, a raccoon found an unsecured roof/soffit intersection that wasn't ideal but provided access to the attic. We called Keith from Urban Wildlife Control. He is very knowledgeable about raccoon behavior and told us that the raccoon was trying to create a new entry point from inside the attic. He installed a one-way door at the point the raccoon was trying to make an entry point and secured the original entry point. That evening there was one agitated raccoon in the attic. Eventually it did leave through the one way door. Keith returned the second day to reset the door in case there was more than one raccoon in the attic. Keith returned the third day to check on the status of the door, and since there was no activity, he removed the one-way door and secured the soffit. We are in the process of replacing our roof. Once this is done, Keith will come back one more time to ensure that the roof and soffits are secure. Thank you Keith.

    Skunk removal

We had a problem with skunks taking up residence under our heated sunporch. They came and dug around the entire border, put down fine-mesh wire, set up a one-way door to get the skunks out, and returned in the promised time-frame to remove the door, make sure the skunks were gone, and seal up the hole. Problem solved! The only reason this was 9 stars instead of 10 is we didn't have much leeway for what the wire mesh looked like; it wasn't very attractive, and could have gone behind the wood screen instead of in front. But it was functional, and that's what mattered! (Whew!) Edit to add: thanks for the offer to come check the work again- we're happy enough with it, won't be necessary. And as you said, it probably was a constraint of the job. Thanks again for the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Allen. We really appreciate any customer feedback, good or bad. We do our best to keep our work as neat as we can. Where possible, we remove lattice or skirting to install the screen behind it but in some cases this isn't practical. In many cases the lattice cannot be removed without damaging it. I wasn't on this job site personally but I'd would be happy to stop by and have a look to determine if the animal-proofing could have been done differently.
