Stair remodel
We had approximately 180 oak spindles in our stair case to be replaced with iron spindles to update our 3 storey staircase. The team that worked on our project was excellent. They worked very hard and were very neat and professional. In addition to the new spindles, they sanded and stained the stairs and railing. Their workmanship was excellent and the job was finished on time as promised. We would not hesitate to recommend them for any future projects. Thank you Mesh and Rajan for a wonderful job.

Another Great Project
Ideal Stairs had replaced our stairs (basement and upper floors) last year and had installed hardwood floor on the landings. We had them return to do the three bedrooms. The work was completed on time and on budget with great craftsmanship. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mesh and his company for any job, stairs or flooring, that you have contemplated. You won't be disapointed.

Stair Renovation
We recently hired Ideal Stairs to re-do our stairs (previously carpet). They were extremely professional; great when it came to sharing ideas and opinions regarding what would look best once complete. Mesh was fantastic about keeping me up-to-date on how the work was progressing. The team obviously takes great pride in their work and my wife and I could not be happier with the final product. I would definitely recommend Ideal to anyone looking to complete similar work.

Stairs Makeover
Ideal was hired to do a complete main floor stairs makeover. They were on time, very neat and take great care in delivering a quality product. The team clearly take great pride in their workmanship and the finished product exceeded our expectations. This is a company that I would without hesitation hire for additional work and would highly recommend them. Stair replacement
Ideal stairs came to our home because we requires a brand new staircase as ours was falling apart due to age. They were a little slow initially starting the job but once on site the men from their team worked hard for three days replacing and staining our new stairs. The finished product is beautiful and safe. The team was creative about staggering their work in order to allow us the ability to go upstairs each night as that is where our bedrooms and bathroom are located. The team was clean and polite while at our home. I would definitely recommend them.

Great workmanship, excellent customer service
We found Ideal Stairs on Homestars and decided to get a quote for replacing the carpet on our stairs and upstairs 3 bedrooms and hallway. They were very detailed explaining exactly what was going to be included. Their quote came in $1,000 less then the nearest competitor and they included more than the other quotes received. The team was prompt, friendly and hard working. The upstairs bedrooms and hallway turned out incredible. But the stairs were a real work of art. We were incredibly impressed and highly recommend the team at Ideal Stairs.

Stair Rescue
We were fully renovating a 90yr old house in The Junction neighbourhood in Toronto, and ran into some problems with a contractor that was unable to complete a renovation project, and contacted Ideal Stairs to tackle the stair construction/replacement properly. Mesh and I went back-and-forth exchanging pictures and ideas, and he was always very quick to reply, and contribute creative ideas of his own. They were sensitive to our very tight timeline (even over the holidays), communication was perfect, and once work was underway the measuring, prepping, demo, and installation crews were always very friendly, polite, quick, and kept a very clean job site when work took place over multiple days. There was never a point without access to stairs, and they worked well around other contractors working on other projects in the house at the same time. Particularly noteworthy was how perfect Ideal Stairs was able to colour match the stain to our existing hardwood floors. I understand it was not easy work back at their shop, but the end product is flawless. Mesh, Rajan, and all of the people at Ideal Stairs were extremely pleasant to work with, flexible to changes and alterations along the way, and I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone considering a stair project renovation. They asked for feedback during construction daily, and are very obviously committed to maintaining their already excellent reputation. Its clear customer satisfaction is important to them, and shows through every step of their projects. (Edit: Wonky website has mixed up captions on attached photos. Should be clear what is before and after! :P)

Excellent work. Highly recommended
Rajan dealt with us from our first visit to the store to the last day at our house. The job involved three flights of stairs and some flooring. The workers arrived on the day promised and handled the whole job very well. One flight of stairs was particularly tricky and Rajan and his team took the time to make sure it was done exactly the way we wanted, which included preserving the existing railing and matching the stain colour to an existing, older floor. When the work in a couple of minor spots was not quite to our liking (and these were only minor things) Rajan quickly arranged to have the work re-done to our satisfaction. The best part for me was how accessible Rajan was during the job - always answering his phone and handling and question or concern we had politely, professionally and promptly. I would have no hesitation recommending these people.

Stair Post and Rail Installation
I asked for a quote for our new stair posts, hand rail and balusters at a very busy time of year with only weeks before Christmas, and Mesh gave me a prompt and very competitively priced quote. His team were able to fit in our project within the week and they did a fabulous job on installing and finishing the work cleanly, promptly and very professionally. As an interior designer who was left in the lurch by contractors, it was refreshing to have my faith restored in professionals who care about their customers and go above and beyond expectations to help them. Mesh and his team are now on my go-to list of trusted tradesmen whom I'll be using and referring to my clients and friends.
