Excellent work. Highly recommended
Rajan dealt with us from our first visit to the store to the last day at our house. The job involved three flights of stairs and some flooring. The workers arrived on the day promised and handled the whole job very well. One flight of stairs was particularly tricky and Rajan and his team took the time to make sure it was done exactly the way we wanted, which included preserving the existing railing and matching the stain colour to an existing, older floor. When the work in a couple of minor spots was not quite to our liking (and these were only minor things) Rajan quickly arranged to have the work re-done to our satisfaction. The best part for me was how accessible Rajan was during the job - always answering his phone and handling and question or concern we had politely, professionally and promptly. I would have no hesitation recommending these people.

Stair Post and Rail Installation
I asked for a quote for our new stair posts, hand rail and balusters at a very busy time of year with only weeks before Christmas, and Mesh gave me a prompt and very competitively priced quote. His team were able to fit in our project within the week and they did a fabulous job on installing and finishing the work cleanly, promptly and very professionally. As an interior designer who was left in the lurch by contractors, it was refreshing to have my faith restored in professionals who care about their customers and go above and beyond expectations to help them. Mesh and his team are now on my go-to list of trusted tradesmen whom I'll be using and referring to my clients and friends.

Stairs and Flooring
Rajan and his team from Ideal Stairs were prompt in providing very competitive quotation followed by an excellent job on the stairs. Our stairs creaked quite a bit and Ideal managed to fix the creaks to our satisfaction. The work was done in time and with minimum fuss. Our Hardwood floors and 7 1/4 in baseboards were next and this job was also done on time and to our satisfaction. Rajan accommodated our requests for additional work as well.

New oak staircase
We had Ideal Stairs Remove old builder carpet upper and basement stairs. Also, had oak pickets replaced with wrought iron. Mesh and Rajan were very accomodative, especially when we made some changes throughout the process. They were all very prompt and cleaned up after each day of work. The job was completed on time! We are very happy with our new staircase!!!

Stair Railing
They were accommodating to my schedule, they're willing to go the extra mile to ensure I get what I want, and they do very good work. They also cleaned up after the job.

Refinish Staircase
Starting with my request for initial quote, Mesh was very responsive and professional. The work started on schedule and the crew was tidy and respectful when onsite. I was given regular updates so that I could plan for the coming day. The resulting work was of very high quality. Would recommend Ideal Stairs to anyone looking to refresh their existing staircase.

Upgrading old stair case
From the start, when I contacted the company, to the end, when the last brush stroke completed the project, it was the most positive experience I've had doing a renovation. The quality of the materials used and the workmanship is unsurpassed. The stair case(s) are a beautiful blend of old and new wood that we're going to enjoy for years to come! Stair refinishing
Mesh and his crew were wonderful - very quick but with high quality and attention to detail. I admire the stairs everyday! What a huge difference and added great value to my home!

can't say enough about this company. Very professional and client focussed. Were always willing to go above and beyond. My stairs are beautiful and it's all due to the attention to detail and focus on client sat that this company has!! recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again

Renovated carpeted stairs to oak stairs, laid hardwood in previously carpeted room.
I found Ideal Stairs on-line when searching for stair renovators. I read the reviews on HomeStars and contacted the company via email. Mesh was my contact at Ideal Stairs and from the first email photos I submitted, to the completion of my stair renovation, My experience was 100 % positive. Mesh sat down with me to find out what type of renovation I was looking for. He worked with me to plan the renovation and provide details regarding the work to be done. I was on a tight time schedule and he was able to fit my job in. from the first day of the job, the work crew came out and worked hard. They follow a tight time line. Mesh wood call to let us know what was happening each day and when the crew would arrive. The stain colour for the stairs and bannister was perfectly matched. The job was completed in four days, with the stair treads and risers built and stained in the Ideal Stairs shop on one of those days. The job was run on a schedule that was efficient and produced a handcrafted, quality product. The team works with you, listens to and incorporates your wishes, and produces a beautiful end result. I will recommend Ideal Stairs to anyone looking for stair renovators and hardwood installation.
