    New staircase

    The folks at Ideal Stairs were great to deal with. They were quick to respond to my request for a quote and were 100% accurate with their quote. There were no additional charges at the end. They did the job fast and had great customer service. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

    Upgrade Carpeted to Hardwood Stairs

    To preface, I am an engineer by background and am very handy. I am super particular and strive for perfection. This makes me a very hard-to-please guy. I did not just take Ideal Stairs based on their 10 star rating on Home Star and their impressive repertoire of pictures and video in their gallery. I engaged them after seeing the impressive quality of their work at a friends place, visiting their showroom with my wife and getting a detail explanation from Mesh on how they upgrade stairs differently from others. Though not the cheapest, I was convinced they would meet my expectations and do a fabulous job! This they certainly did and more! I am a very proud owner of a majestic looking staircase, the focal point in my house! Neighbours and friends who have visited immediately notice and are wowed by the rich look and the clean and sharp finish. This is what I have to say about Ideal Stairs team: As the owner / Project manager, Rajan progressively kept me informed of the work that would be done the following day. He takes great pride in his work and has a satisfaction- guaranteed approach! His crew are experts at what they do. Their work is organized, clean and meticulous, and they clean up daily after their work. I have curved stairs. I have learnt that this is a monumental work of fine carpentry! It has many facets requiring different expertise, is very labour intensive and a high precision job! If you want a masterpiece, engage Ideal Stairs!

    Stairs - Carpet to Hardwood

    Ideal Stairs was fantastic to deal with. Mesh, Rajan and the rest of the team were always courteous, professional and willing to answer any questions we had about the project. They were patient with us as we had many questions during the initial quote. We had originally wanted to stick with our old railing but after further discussion during the project and more patience from the team, we decided for a new one and could not be happier (with no added time either). The nosing on the 2nd floor was measured perfectedly for our LVP flooring\underlayment (which we installed afterwards) to slide underneath. Thanks again, we highly recommend Ideal Stairs.

    Amazing Team, Amazing Results

    As you can see from the before and after photos, Rajan and his team of excellent workers did an amazing job transforming my outdated, worn, yellowing stairs into what I think is a work of art. I only had a very small window to get this job done. And Rajan bent over backwards to work around the painters schedule and the flooring install to get this done on time. I can't say enough good things about them and their work! It was such a pleasure having them in my home.

    Stair and Hardwood Install

    Ideal Stairs went above and beyond our expectations when we requested their services to finish a project that had been left incomplete by a previous contractor. From Meshs prompt reply and careful assessment of our needs to the attentive and courteous communication we received from Rajan throughout the work process, their dedication to and respect for their clients is a testament to their pride in their work. Moreover, the workers were polite, hardworking and committed to their craft. We are very pleased with the finished project and would highly recommend their services

    Staircase refinishing & Hardwood Installation

    We had a fantastic experience with Ideal Stairs. We found them through Home Stars, and decided to work with them, right after our first interaction. Both Mesh & Rajan are extremely professional in dealing with, right from the initial planning stages to the completion of the work. They were very transparent about timing and offered great pricing for hardwood installation and staircase re-finishing. We were very impressed with the quality of work of the team - who were highly skilled, very polite and extremely clean and great to work with. Mesh & Rajan, went the extra mile to find the exact brand of hardwood flooring that we wanted, to match the rest of the house. In fact we added some additional scope to the project as we wanted Rajan and his team to do the project. They not only accommodated the additional scope, but also finished it in the timeline. After the project was complete, Rajan did drop by for a visit to inspect and also ensure that we were happy with the whole experience. Would definitely recommend ideal stairs for their excellent quality of work! Thank you!

    Hardwood Renovation

    I had an amazing experience with Ideal Stairs from initial planning stages to execution of the completed work! Mesh and Rajan were excellent communicators and offered great pricing for hardwood installation including two staircases. The team was very efficient, highly skilled and clean; completing the job ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend Ideal stairs and will be scheduling them again to complete hardwood renovations on my upper floor.

    Carpeted Stairs Replaced with Hardwood & Pickets

    We would highly recommend Ideal Stairs! This was a great experience from start to finish. We contacted them after finding the company on HomeStars and they lived up to their rating. We replaced our carpeted stairs with hardwood. Raj and his team were very professional and did an excellent job. Raj spoke to us every day to ensure everything was going well. Their team were courteous, efficient and aimed to please. They cleaned up well each day and consulted us about any questions. After the project was finished, Raj called to ensure we were happy with the work once again. We would 100% recommend Ideal Stairs and their excellent work.

    Staircase renovation

    We would highly recommend Ideal Stairs! This was a great experience from start to finish. I quickly received a response and quote from Mesh at Ideal Stairs. Any discussions with Mesh regarding changes were handled quickly and professionally. The work teams were very professional, unobtrusive, efficient and very detail oriented. They cleaned up every night thoroughly and consulted us about any questions.

    Stair and railing refinishing, spindle replacement, painting risers.

    Ideal Stairs were excellent about setting up a date right away. Once the team came, they were very efficient, careful, polite and great to work with. The end product made me feel like we had a brand new staircase. I definitely recommend Ideal Stairs.
