    Last summer, we had an urgent request for a roofer and located National Star when they were supplying another roof on our crescent. They were quick to respond with an estimate and timeline fit with our short deadline. They were professional, friendly and showed up ahead of schedule to complete our roof in one long day. The quality of their work was excellent and they fully explained and showed us the finished product. We would highly recommend this family business, as would our contractor, as they were efficient, excellent quality work, and price was as estimated. It was a pleasure to work with National Star.

    Roofing

    After a hail storm it was necessary to have my roof done. I did some research and received several quotes. Most other companies provided pricing similar to that of National Star however the other companies missed many details such as work around the chimney (just to name one of many) and had several additional charges to use the same high quality materials that National Star uses as their standard. I am so glad that National Star was the company I picked as they were able to answer my endless questions, included all possible requirements and costs; and were astounding with the knowledge they had to offer. The roofing job was handled in a professional and expedient manner. At all times during the job they maintained a clean and neat work site. The gentlemen with whom I had the pleasure to work with were extremely courteous and honest. They were responsive to my needs and the quality of their work was superb. It was clear to me that they truly cared about the end result and about the customer. It is always a pleasure to do work with an honest company that exhibit true integrity and your desire to do things right. They are very helpful and very easy to work with. There were several homes in my area that had their roofs replaced however it is obvious that they did not use National Star as the quality of the job done on my roof is far superior. It was my experience that as a family owned and operated company, each worker had an invested interest in the maintaining a high level of quality in their work and were only pleased when they had satisfied their customer....me. They worked hard and efficiently, completing the job in one day which was amazing considering I have an extremely large roof with many valleys and peaks and maintained the original budget. Not only would I recommend National Star because of their superb quality of workmanship but I am extremely pleased with their job performance and would never consider having any other company do my roof.     Roof Replacement

    I had my roof replaced this summer and the guys from National Star finished the job in one day with no issues. The job they did and the customer service they provided were impressive. I would recommend this company to others looking to have their roof replaced and would use them again myself.

    Roof

    Sokol was very prompt in responding to our inquiry and the quote was very competitive with other companies. National Star completed our roof in 1 day. It was fast and very well done. We were extremely pleased with the outcome. Everyone takes pride in their work and they didn't leave the project until we were happy with every part. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

    Roofing Replacement

    We have used National Star Roofing to replace our roof in Aug this year. I have got 3 quotes and National Star's price was very competitive. One reason I chose them was because Sokol had always responded to my inquiry promptly, explained patiently about different finishing options and was able to accommodate our tight schedule as we were in a hurry to go for a booked trip. The job was nicely done in two days, with the color matching my house exterior and with a beautiful high profile capping finish. I am happy with the professional work they've done.

    Roof Replacement

    I have absolutely no problem giving National Star Roofing a 10 out of 10 rating for potential future customers to review. It was the first time that I've used HomeStars to assist in choosing a contractor. I chose National Star partly because of their great reviews, and partly due to the details that were discussed during the estimate. I felt the confidence and pride that they take in their work at that time. I have absolutely no regrets in having chosen them and am completely satisfied. I'm fairly mechanically inclined and paid attention to the detail. The job involved replacing a cedar shake roof on a house with attached garage, and a large detached workshop. We chose the best quality asphalt shingles available. Aside from everything being completed, and cleaned up as promised, in a timely manor, there are a couple of things that impressed me further as to the professionalism of this team. The first and main thing was the discovery of a mould problem in the main roof area of the house. Although it took an extra day and about $4K, they not only took the time to replace the plywood panels that it was necessary to replace, they also found the cause of the problem which was an issue in the way the bathrooms vents had been routed (into the ridge cap), and corrected that with proper roof exiting vents. They also fixed a problematic (leaky) attached Sunroom roof using a material made for flat roofs as opposed to the shingles. While I like the look of the shingles a bit better, I'm convinced they made the correct choice in terms of long term leak protection. In addition, they took extra special care at my request to fill the inevitable gaps left in the corners between the cedar shakes and the cedar siding (due to the thickness of the old cedar shakes). The whole crew was friendly and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Thanks very much to Sokol, Alecks, Ilia, and the rest, Martin and Betty

With a cathedral ceiling such as yours, you either change the insulation along with the molded plywoods or pull down your ceiling from inside. Many times we see and fix such issues, which surface once the old roof is pulled out. They need to be addressed and fixed or have serious health consequences. The conscience of no human should allow going over the mold, but many people in the roofing business do it.     New roof

    This company installed a new roof on my home last summer and went above and beyond in professional service and craftsmanship. I was extremely happy with Aleks Vukaj and his team at National Star Roofing, right from the initial consultation to completion of my new roof. These roofing specialists use excellent quality materials and offer a great guarantee. The team arrived in the early morning and had completed the entire job by the end of the same day! I had absolutely no clean up to do when the job was done. Not one nail was found in the yard when the crew left my home. Everything was in immaculate shape. Alexs followed-up and explained in detail what they had done and why. You will not be disappointed if you choose this company for your roofing project. They get an A+++++ rating from me. Excellent job!

    Roofing

    I contacted this company after checking them on the BBB and with the excellent rating they have, this because we needed to change the roof for our home. within 1 day Sokol came and gave e a roofing quote. We verified the quote and the product the company has to offer and the quality is there, we got shingles that will last many years. Once we decided to go with them after reviewing 2 other companies. Their pricing is very competitive and the reviews gave us a clear view of what to expect. Then we got an approximate date for them to come and do the work. I received a call from Sokol and he told me that he will come earlier. The next day they showed up and the crew came with 2 trucks. They unloaded the new roof and all the materials to do the job at about 10 AM. When I came from work around 3 PM, they were finishing putting the shingles. After they installed the ridge venting and finish their work in a very professional way. Once done they cleaned everything and even raked the grass to get any nails that dropped from the roof. I was very impressed with the quality and care this company takes when doing their job. Once they were done Sokol came to inspect the job done and collect payment. We have a beautiful new roof and waiting for the shingles to seal permanently next spring. Thank you very much for your excellent service.

    Roof Replacement

    Sokol and his team at National Star did an excellent job replacing our roof. They had the job completed in one day and I was impressed by how hard they worked and the attention they gave to every little detail. I would highly recommend them.

    New Shingles

    I decided to get 3 estimates to replace my shingles and National Star beat the competition hands down. From start to finish Sokol and his crew were very professional, hard working and made sure everything was done right. I have no problem recommending National Star.
