    Roof Replacement

    Due to numerous reasons I had to replace my existing roof of only 10 years. Apprehensively I started my search for roofing companies. This is a considerable repair purchase and I would venture to say one of the most important as it protects everything underneath it so I wanted the best. And I got it. Sokol and his crew were amazing. At virtually every step along the way I felt informed about the next step in the process. The actual day of the install was amazing ten guys all showed up and finished the job...that same day (and I don't have a small roof). At the end of the day when our family was home they were very conscientious of cleanliness. They were meticulous about searching for stray nails around the house which was much appreciated by everyone especially our kids and dog. The final true test will be whether the roof will stand the test of time but to that end National Star does have a very good warranty should anything happen. Great crew, great company, highly recommended.

    roof replacement

    My roof developed a leak during a recent hailstorm. The family members of National Star Roofing took time from a planned long weekend holiday to address the problem. Removal of the shingles revealed that the previous roofing contractor had used 3/8 inch plywood, much of it now rotten, and no underlay. Consequently, the roof had to be completely replaced. National Star roofing did not take advantage of the situation. The roof was completed in 2 days at a fair price using quality materials. All of the men were hardworking, polite, efficient and obviously took great pride in their work. I was taken up onto the roof and the reasons for all of the measures taken were explained. I would not hesitate to recommend National Star Roofing.

    Roof Replacement

    We had our roof redone a couple of years ago. National Star was really excellent. They had great customer service and their work is very high quality. They were careful about nails (a large concern for us as we have small children), and replaced some failing boards on our garage roof just because they saw it needed to be done. Their roof still looks perfect and I expect it to for many years.

    Roof Replacement

    All the glowing reviews are true. I've had extensive home renovations done over the years and National Star are simply the best contractors I've ever dealt with, from start to finish. They define professionalism, courtesy, customer service and take pride in delivering quality. They have earned their reputation and my trust. When we uncovered issues with our skylights and decided to replace them after the job had started, the guys scrambled (on a Friday night no less), found a quality replacement product and installed them at minimal cost, when it would have been all too easy to either say it was too late to change or charge us a hefty premium to do the "impossible". Instead they accommodated us without taking advantage of the situation - speaks volumes to their integrity. After the job was finished, I mentioned a cosmetic issue around our chimney that might have been arguably been outside of the scope of the roofing job itself. Rather than run away or even hesitate, they found a way and returned later to do a proper job dressing the chimney so that it meshed seamlessly with the roof. Most importantly they were on time, on budget, the roof looks great and the installation is top quality. National Star truly aims for complete customer satisfaction and it would seem that nothing less would be acceptable to them - what more could you ask in a contractor?

    This is incredible, Ken. When we all read what you have written about us, seems unreal. I guess when you are on the other side (the client), you can notice what tells us apart from competitors. The way we run our business is pretty unique. How many businesses you know of that consist of all family members (9 in our case)? I, personally, believe that what you seed, you collect. If you are honest and hard working, you will always have work and happy clients. it also is a matter of expectations for the future. If we want to be in business and earn a living from this business the next 20-30 years, our roofs have to last more than that, so we do have to take the time to build every roof solid. Regarding us going the extra mile for our clients, it should be a practice in the customer service part of every business. Unfortunately it is not, but we are trying every day to raise the standards.     Reroof

    Smart is the word I would use to describe National Star Roofing. Unlike seemingly every other contractor we've worked with. They showed up when they said, didn't ask for any deposit or money up front, charged me less than the estimate, used top quality products, did little extras like take my Christmas lights down, and paint and reseal my steel chimney. These things aren't difficult, but they more than justify the price, which wasn't the lowest, nor the highest. A good value for sure, considering how important a roof is and how long it lasts. And then they asked me to review them, another smart move.

    Roof

    Great service. Awesome quality work and done in good time and exactly as quoted. Work site was cleaned up great after 1st night and on finishing night. Would not even know they were here. Would highly recommend. Sokol great to deal with and answers all questions and great communication before, during and after job.

    Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were very professional and did a great job on the roof. The work was done in a couple of days and they cleaned up all traces. The product looks great!

    New Roof

    National Star were fantastic from the quote through to the finished product. They genuinely care about doing the best job they can and made sure that they exceeded all my expectations. The roof looks great, the job site was completely cleaned afterwards, and they were professional and courteous to my family during and after the job. I was referred to National Star by friends of mine and would gladly do the same.

    Replace roof

    We are very happy that we chose National Star to do our roof. We feel we received quality materials and workmanship. The staff were courteous, friendly and quick, the finished roof looks great and cleanup was excellent. The estimate was competitive, and Sokol even included our shed for free, which meant converting from corrugated plastic to plywood and shingles. The only slight hiccup was a delay in responding to our request for an estimate, but they definitelymade up for that in subsequent customer service. Well done! We would definitely recommend National Star Roofing.

    New Roof

    Great service, very friendly staff. Job was done right and on time and it was exactly as quoted. Would recommend them to everyone. We were very happy with the result.
