    Roof Replacement

    Sokol and his team provided a quick, clean and top quality job in replacing the roof on our Springbank home. They were so pleasant to deal with and worked very hard, even in poor weather conditions. National Star Contracting responded efficiently to our initial request for a quote and to all other enquiries. Their prices are competitive and well worth the value! We have no hesitation in recommending their services. :)

    A new roof for the garage, shed and house

    We were in need of a new roof, and noticed that our alley neighbor had just had their roof replaced. In speaking to them, she mentioned that they used National Star, and that Sokol and his crew were very good, and that they were very pleased with the outcome. Sokol immediately came over to speak to us, and was very kind and genuine. We signed on the spot, and were extremely happy with the results. The team did a great job, worked quickly while we were out of town, and we came home to a new roof, a clean yard, and Sokol took ever care to ensure we were happy with the results. We would recommend this company indeed!

    New roof shingled

    We had an 1970's low slope roof bungalow in Dalhousie that needed a complete upgrade. We had Kevin Williams construction rip of the old roof and put on a new truss roof with 6 in 12 and 9 in 12 slopes. Once the new roof was on, we needed it shingled. Because of a problem with the original roofer, National Star Contracting stepped in. We were completely exposed, with only plywood decking, but National Star came in immediately and sealed the roof with an extra-thick membrane. This got us through the week-end, and the whole team showed up early the next week to finish the job. The started at noon and wnet straight through until it was dark to finish the job. The house is ~1400 sq ft, so with the slope on the roof, it was a lot of shingling. They did a great job -- they used top notch materials. If they were short something or what they had with them was not quite right for the job, they did not "make do", but went and got the right materials. They were great to work with and we were thankful they came to our rescue. The whole neighborhood was impressed wit the work and the attitude of the team.

    Roof replacement & repair

    My husband & I are extremely happy to have National Star Contracting Inc. replacing our roof in September 2012. We feel quite fortunate to receive such outstanding service and high quality material for such a reasonable price. Their business is run in a very pleasant manner and the staffs are excellent - friendly and professional. They listened very carefully and they completed the job as we wanted using the materials we chose. They exceeded our expectations, and we truly believe there was absolutely nothing that we would’ve change to further improve their services! They really made us feel like we were their only client and it was very much appreciated. The staffs were accommodating and supper friendly. Their ability to complete the work in a timely manner and haul away the old materials was remarkable and is very much appreciated.     Roof replacement

    Sokol did a great job keeping me updated on the timeline for this work and took care on my individual requests (remove satalite dish and fill holes). After the work was completed, the entire yard was cleaned and care was taken to remove all the nails and debris so I wouldn't worry about my kids stepping on them. The crew was polite and the roof looks great. I would definitely recommend National Star

    Roof replacement

    My wife and i looked so hard to find the right company that would really show what they have to offer changing our roof. National Star proved to us their honesty through the work they have done. They worked together as a unit, paying attention to detail and respecting us and our house during the work. Sokol keeps in touch on a regular basis. We would gladly recommend National Star to anyone we know.

    Roof Renovation

    Sokol is a professional gentleman to supply the best service to my roof change. He did careful inspection on my old roof, advised me about my roof solution, and completed the whole roof change ahead of schedule. The work he has done is very satisfied with me.

    New Roof!

    Sokol was extremely professional, responsive and informative throughout the whole process! Before and after pictures were helpful for us to understand the extent of the damage. From insurance assessment right through to the finished project National Star was amazing! I love my new roof!

    Replace 30 year old asphalt shingles.

    The house is 30 years old and was built during a boom period, meaning short cuts were taken. Sokol checked the plywood was well screwed down and rebuilt a wood burning chimney housing, when he found problems.
