    Basement Waterproofing - would recommend!

    We're super happy with Colm's work. Colm is professional, honest, dedicated to his clients, and genuinely loves what he does. From the first phonecall, he always took the time to discuss the project in detail and work out the best and most cost effective strategy for us. He always showed up when he said he would, and got the got the job done in a timely manner, on budget without cutting any corners.  We'll be hiring him again in the near future for another area of the house.     waterproof/repair basement leak

    I was very impressed with Colm and his team. They arrived punctually. We were given a clear and detailed explanation of the repair process. The job was done thoroughly and we were invited to inspect the repair process as it went along to ensure that we were satisfied that no steps were missed. The job site was left clean and clear. They worked tirelessly on a very hot day to complete the job on time. We were more than satisfied and we would certainly recommend them to anyone needing waterproofing/basement leak repairs.

    Colm is the best!

    In November 2020 I reached out to a number of contractors for a job and Colm was the only one who took the time to analyze the issue when providing his quote. When I hired him he constantly went above and beyond, including being mindful and open about cost. I would not hesitate to use him again and wholeheartedly recommend him.

    Exterior waterproofing

    Colm waterproofed the exterior wall of our house this Spring, after we discovered a leak in our basement. He explained exactly what our options were, and outlined his methods for each. We never felt pressured. He was very responsive to questions and followed up every text within the hour, often with a phone call. He even took the time to drive over and speak with our concerned neighbour. The work was completed on time (!!), the crew was very friendly, AND they cleaned up after themselves. We found that the work was also reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

    Waterproofing and Sump Pump Installation

    I was highly recommended by my neighbour who used their service to contact Colm at Act Fast Waterproofing to get a quote. The next day Colm looked at the exterior wall and within a few hours received a fair quote. Approval was given to waterproof and install a sump pump and now the work is completed. Colm, Paul and Dominic are an amazing team and very professional. Mutual driveway and work area was left very clean. I really appreciated Colm’s honesty and trust in whatever decisions he needed to make to complete the job. Colm has kindly offered to help me submit the rebate application form for the sump pump. I would highly recommend Act Fast Waterproofing - fairly priced and excellent workmanship.

    Professional, Fast and Easy to work with

    We hired Act Fast in spring 2019 and had a wonderful experience. After receiving multiple quotes there were 2 companies with a comparable technique that was what I had researched was the more effective method for waterproofing. They both had comparable pricing but Colm was able to start a lot sooner and was much more responsive to questions/communications. Throughout the process he kept me updated with photos and discussions. He kept a close eye on the weather radar and worked hard to get outdoor jobs finished before upcoming rainfalls (and ended up finishing ahead of schedule). He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the job during and after. Colm did a professional quality job and was so easy to work with. I highly recommend Act Fast Waterproofing.

    The proof is in the parging

    Colm is very professional and thorough, and does a proper job with surface prep - some companies will take shortcuts here. We got a number of quotes too and Act Fast was one of the most competitive. Great value.

    Very professional

    Colm & Todd showed up on time for waterproofing our basement. They did an amazing job, were quick and I expected a terrible mess afterwards yet they left the area spotless. Highly recommend this company!

    Internal Waterproofing & sump pump installation

    I contacted 6 different contractors - I chose Act Fast - Colm as he was knowledgeable, professional and did not push to sell his services. The price was the best out of the 6 and were able to do the work on the date I requested. Colm and Dominic came in and covered everything with drop sheets, prepped the area, made sure to cause as little disruption as possible. They cleaned up the area, no mess, everything done perfectly and by 5pm the job was finished. ActFast is great, professional and affordable - I would highly recommend them. Thanks Colm & Dominic!
