For sure purchasing a house it’s one of the most problematic purchases that you could do especially when it’s your first time. We were intended to buy the house, good pricing and convenient location. Nevertheless I did a quick search on all possible issues and pitfalls, found out that there might be a lot of problems with drain system and basement as well. Also they checked the basement on moisture with a special detector. Fortunately there wasn't any problem with the house and we sealed the deal confidently. For the service they made we paid about 250$, but the sellers put it under their expenses. Recently we moved in and happy with our new purchase.

This summer we faced a new problem, in our house after a huge downfalls a first signs of destructive moisture showed up. Initially it was only a small black spots on the top of the wall in the basement, especially in the corners. The next week, it was a couple days of raining at row and over these days it grew larger. So I started search for a waterproofing company. There was a work up the street and I talked to the neighbors, they assured me that they work with the Doctor Rooter for a while and know Oleg rather well, that he is good and dependable guy. So, I asked for his contacts and set an appointment on Monday. What I would love to notice, I was impressed by the young guy's attitude towards work, from the first 15 minutes it was obvious, I deal with a professional and my doubts disappear. Oleg cleared up all questions and what is important in easy and comprehendible way to me. He had couple of options to choose from which is perfect for me, I stuck to the most appropriate, because I wanted to get a quality and fit into the budget as well. The project began almost immediately, the next business day Doctor Rooter's group came by with all necessarily equipment and also called for gas pipe location. We were referred to Oleg for some backflow issues in our basement. After a quick visit, Oleg was able to assess the two contributing issues, indoor and outdoors, and provide us with his best & most cost-efficient recommendation. The crew completely isolated the indoors area to minimize the amount of cleanup required afterwards. The outdoors area was treated similarly and the impact to our property was minimal. These guys work HARD - managed to juggle timelines with another job to be able to get the work done as quickly as possible. They were courteous and considerate of the fact that our chile & family needed regular access to water/drainage. Oleg manages his team very well and is excellent to work with. He provided my neighbour with a quote for additional work, and we'll be calling him back to take care of a lower priority item very soon.

Oleg is a life saver. We'd used him previously to underpin a house and do the rough plumbing in a large renovation and he did a great job for us then. Three weeks ago when Toronto was hit with a huge rain storm, he came to our rescue when a drain was plugged, resulting in basement flooding. Oleg drove in from Brampton late at night (after working at another job all day), staying until 2am, working to open a drain. He left only to go to get a pump to help in the cleanup and brought fans to the site to help dry out the basement- without being asked. Oleg identified a structural problem in the drain system that required opening the floor (showed us a blockage with his camera system) - returned a couple of days later and fixed the problem permanently. Oleg is a real professional. His work has always been excellent. Returns all calls, comes when he says he will come, quality of work is excellent, pleasant. Clean work site. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
