Relocation
My wife and I were moving in Mississauga. The guys showed up on time, they were extremely care with furniture and all the stuff. We have a lot of glass like mirrors and the movers wrapped up everything very nicely. Very professional, fast and polite. Reliable and affordable. During my move nothing was broken or missing. We will use them for our future moves. We will highly recommend them to everyone.

move of pool table
I had the worst experience in my life moving my pool table. The movers were walking all over my carpet with their dirty boots. I asked them to remove their boots and they refused. I called their office and Tina told them to put runners. One of them was very upset and said they would charge me more if they had an accident. They treated my as if they were doing me a favour. I reminded them that I was paying for a service. Worst company ever.

Movers
Please DO NOT book this company! Not only did they quit half way during the move, they over charged us and threaten to hold our belongings if we didn't pay their estimated end time. The movers were slow and inexperienced; worst of all, could not speak English. Tina the secretary has no customer service skills. Horrific experience ever! We had to find friends to help the movers as they could not lift furniture into the truck as their ramp was broken! Ruined my first move experience. We were left to finish the move on our own. NOT PROFESSIONAL at all!! They did not use runners and left both properties in shambles. I will be reporting them to the BBB!

Smart Movers Canada is very upset with disrespectful review of the customer as a customer received professional service which is completely opposite from the review. First off all, the client did not provide us with proper information. She told us that there is not much to be moved and her estimated time was 4 to 6 hours. We recommended her to start in the morning time with 3 movers, but she refused because she did not want to pay for waiting time in case she would not get a key on time. Movers arrived in exact time as customer requested (4 pm). They took out TWO fully loaded 30 ft TRUCKS (little more than semitrailer), and there still was some stuff left. When the movers arrived with a truck to the new place the previous home owner and his truck was still loading. It made the process more difficult and slow down. Movers finished unload the second truck at 4 am. In total the job took 12 hours, which is quite good time for 2 movers considering the amount of stuff and overnight working. During the 12 hours of labor movers did not take breaks. We were not able to make the third trip because it was already 4:00 in the morning and the movers were working for 12 hours straight. The company provides floor runners upon customer request with a notice in advance, since their quantity is somewhat limited, but the customer never asked for floor runners. Regarding the payment, according to our contract which was sign by the customer, the customer agrees to pay the full payment prior the unloading. The customer paid exact number of hours of movers working and not a minute more. There was no extra charges for client at all, but technically the company were able to make an extra charges cause of overnight working. Our company did perform a high quality service and all measures were taken to provide a professional moving experience. We would be really appreciated if the customer edit the review and be true to themselves and to other homeowners.

House relocation
We recently had a moving with smart movers Canada. The service was excellent and fast. The movers were courteous, organized and respectful. I'm truly impressed with smart movers and it was a pleasure to work with them. We would recommend them to my friends and family.

Amazing moving company
We had storage unit which need to be moved ASAP. They came in less than two hours after I called them for help.Guys were very quick and really carefully with my furniture. They put all the furniture together in my new apartment very professional. Best thanks to Smart Movers Canada. We'll definitely recommend you and will call you again.

move
This mover is worst mover, we moved with this mover last month, they came on time but the way they moved things was terrible. They agreed that they will use runners at our from and To house to pick and deliver the items, but they DID NOT use, upon asking them to use runners they started arguing with me, that why do you need runners, you can clean it afterwards, upon insisting they used ONLY 2 runners just from main door to living room, screwing up floor at other rooms/ stairs. They DID not use blankets to wrap any of our item even GLASS was wrapped partially in the plastic wrap (most of other items were not even plastic wrapped, the team DID not had Scotch tape to tape wrapped items, one of the WORST mover. They damaged our furniture and when i asked for claim they asked for pictures which i sent and then after 2 weeks (after i sent couple of emails) they said they cannot give us claim as the items they did not damage. They are saying the items may of bad quality and were damaged before they picked them...... USE THEM AT YOUR RISK , VERY VERY BAD MOVERS......... DO NOT EXPECT COURTESY or CLAIM FROM THEM.

residential moving
My experience with smart movers was excellent. Friendly, efficient, professional, prompt. I was amazed on how well they wrapped all my furniture. The movers took all the worry out of the move. I will recommend smart movers to friends and family. Many thanks and see you again someday!

3 Bedroom house in Mississauga
I called Smart Movers to move my 3 Bedroom house out in Mississauga. First i was very worried cause i had a 5x9 pool table. Company assured me that it isnt a problem at all. Didnt know what to do but i had to do something so i hired them. Guys i was amazed how quick they were, my pool table was moved and put together very proffesionally. Great job and trully great company. Thank you so much!

Smart movers - Moving Company
We moved a 4 bd average size house to a new location 1 hour away. They sent a medium to small sized truck for the job...this was problem # 1. The truck did not hold all of our belongings, requiring a second trip to be added otherwise half of our stuff would have been left behind. The company did not assess or view the house before assigning a truck for the job. Due to this, the total move with the two trips took 23 hours! This was with 3 movers from the company doing the job! Problem #2 had to do with the items left behind even after the 2 trips. There was no communication and really bad attitudes regarding some of the belongings that the company did not want to pack...this was because during the second move, it was going on 10-15 hours and the movers were tired. (try choosing a different career then next time...) Problem #3...once at the new house after the second trip, the older of the 3 movers, who spoke no english...only some type of Czech or Russian language, used our brand new bathroom. He complained that the flush would not work. Turns out he clogged the brand new toilet with some type of diarrhea!! Then after that all three movers proceeded to use our side yard and driveway as their place to urinate! Overall, this company used movers who were disgusting which makes the company seem to not care about professionalism or good service. In their attempt to keep costs and overheads low, they hire people looking for work who are not skilled, trained or capable...not thinking about how this affects their brand image, service quality or customers. After deep and careful investigation, we would like to state that we don't have situation like this during the last half a year in Mississauga. Our company doesn't have a small trucks, the smallest size of the truck that we have is 28ft truck. Usually for 4 bedroom house we send larger 30-32ft truck or even two of them. Also we always recommend free on-site estimates for our clients. Overall we have a rule in our company to wrap the furniture with plastic shrink and pack all the stuff. Our movers have rich experience, they clean and friendly, and they are all professional movers. This may be done by another moving company. If it was us and you have informed us, we could have resolved this situation. We are fair and responsible, and this review is misplaced.
