    Tree Roots in Drain Pipe

    I have been experiencing slow drainage for over a month now and I didn't thinnk much of it until the water in the toilet and sinks took over 5 minutes to drain. I read about DrainRooter here on HomeStars and gave them a call. Fero came in about 1.5hr and did a camera inspection and it turned out that I had tree roots in my drain. Fero told me what had to be done and the cost. I agreed because I knew they were a reputable company that guarantees their work and others have had a good experience with them. Once Feros drain crew came, they begin digging where the roots were located. Fero replaced the clay pipe with a plastic pipe. My water has been draining perfectly since then. Overall, I had a great experience, fair pricing and friendly staff. Recommend DrainRooter to all

Bugoslawa, tree roots are a very common problem in older homes, where the trees are large and used to planted close to the house for a more appealing look. Now, trees are planted a minimum of 10 meters away from the home in order to prevent tree roots from damaging drain pipes. As for your home, you can be stress-free because Fero was able to replace the drain and cut the roots all around the excavated area. It will take over 15 years for those roots to grow back to their original size.     Frozen Pipes

    Frozen Pipe to upstairs. Tried home based solutions, came on long wknd monday, late at night to help us out and solve the issue. Explained everything very clearly to us and was nice and friendly.

This is a very serious issue because if it is not fixed as soon as possible it could result in a burst pipe which leads to a large water leak or a basement flood which will end up costing thousands of dollars to restore!     Plumbing [tap] repair

    Mike arrived as promised, despite terrible weather and road conditions. He quickly and expertly replaced the taps. He explained the products he was using and the laundry plumbing line I'd bought beforehand. I would definitely call him [therefore the company with which he's associated] again. Great service!

    clogged drains, leakage

    I should have had written this review 3 years ago, when first time we used Drain Rooter Plumbing to solve our problem with clogged washroom pipes. Mike assessed the job requirements, gave us advise, provided it with the solution on how to fix the problem for agreed rate. He was very professional, knowledgeable, clean and trustworthy. Mike completed work on time, for agreed price! We always prize honesty and integrity, thank you Mike. So, when faced again with plumbing problem (leaking ceiling in the kitchen) who did we call? Mike. With no disappointment Mike did it again. Thank you.

    Plumbing repair and installation

    I contacted Mike at first over a leak, which he fixed right away. I then had him to return to fix plumbing issues created by the construction plumbers. This included fixing rough in pipes along with incorrectly installed fixtures. Mike did a great job, always professional, on time, and charges a fair amount. I hope there isn't any plumbing work that still needs to be corrected, but if it happens or I need a plumber I will definitely call him first.

    Plumbing

    The drain from my double kitchen sink blocked, I tried to unblock it but failed. Mike attended the house that same day and used 2 snakes and a video to solve the problem. The issue was that the drain had frozen and Mike had to cut and replace some of the PVC pipe. Also, a toilet cistern was filling exceptionally slowly. Mike replaced the fill valve and water hose, and the cistern now fills in less than 30 seconds. Mike takes his job very seriously, and makes sure you are happy with the results. He was at the house for two and a half hours. The two repairs and the parts replaced including tax was $514.00. Which I thought was very reasonable. Great job Mike, I hope I don't need a plumber again, but if I do I will call you.

    Excavation & Drain Pipe Replacement

    Mike was at my house within an hour of contacting him for an emergency assessment and completed the job over the holidays for me. The work was perfect and the job site left immaculate. I hope to have Mike do future plumbing upgrades for me.

    Plumbing- main drain clog

    My main drain was clogged. Drain Rooter plumbing arrived quickly and fixed the problem very well. The plumber, Mike Dovbenyuk, was fantastic. He was pleasant, quick and did great work.

    Install Back Water Valve

    I wanted to have the Back Water Valve(BWV) installed after the floods in Mississauga. I called Drain Rooter Plumbing and Mike was quick to respond and came to my house at a short notice. He was able to locate the drain where the BWV had to be installed and gave the price / quote on the project. After talking to him we realized he has vast knowledge in this field (since this is my first house we have limited knowledge of this), he took time and explained to us in detail the process he would follow to have the valve installed. We agreed on a date when the valve was going to be installed and Mike and his crew were on time for the appointment and did the work efficiently and cleanly. Thank you Mike for the quick response and making this easy for us. We will definitely reach-out to him for future projects we may have. Bikram

    Camera inspection

    I had to comply with codes as per the City Inspector for my basement appartment to get it legalized.Tiles were already laid. Had two options either to break my tiles and show the pipes or camera inspection. Mike from DrainRooter saved me with camera inspection & did a great job same day when I called. Thank you.
