Our new shed is perfect. Easy experience from beginning to end with excellent service from selecting options/styles to installation. Our neighbours have all commented on it. Would highly recommend Summerwood Products.

Last Friday night my husband told me to listen to the message on our answering machine. I was shocked and excited! We won first prize on the photo contest! The last thing I won was 1st prize for drawing a crow eating corn when I was 8 years old. I had forgotten all about the contest. What a great weekend! We, of course, thought our Urban Studio was very cool, but everyone thinks theirs is the best. It is gratifying to know someone else thinks so too. I am particularly feeling good about this since I did the work and planning on this project. Ray, my husband, is the big picture man…who can’t read a blueprint to save his life, and I am the planner, detail and get it done person. That made a good team for a first prize! We often said this kind of work would be our 2nd career. I would like to thank Summerwood and their staff. They were great to work with. I have told many people - who are intrigued by the whole concept – what a complete pleasure this was. One of my jobs is customer service at our company, and it’s nice to be on the receiving end of a good company that cares about their customers and their products. PS. I’m thinking about garage.

I'm not sure what happened two years ago but we had a wonderful experience with Summerwood. They not only met our expectations but exceeded them. In a world where it seems like nobody takes responsibility and everybody is doing as little as they can Summerwood was DEFINITELY a breath of fresh air. 10 out of 10 for sure.

do not do business with this group. they 'restructured' in the fall and told us that the new company [operating under the same name with the same web site and product line] is not bound to honour $10K+ deposit! we're left in a position as an 'unsecured creditor' and told we have to sue!

The process started out quite simply; we went to the showroom and found a salesperson who was very helpful. After we left we went back and forth with the same sales person to make sure the drawings were right for the pool house. When we would get the revised drawings they were always wrong, not to mention some of the accessories that we had requested were forgotten. Once the deposit was paid it was hard to get a hold or a call back from anyone. We thought it will all be worth it when it is done. When they came to build it one of the walls was pre built the wrong way and the builder (a contractor that they hire out) was gifted enough to switch the wall around. Once it was build it was a master piece. It looked great. However the windows were not built as to what the agreed plan was. They had to come back and redo the windows. They had built them shorter then they were supposed to be. Once that was fixed we thought that we were finally done. Until we had the first rain and it leaked; the windows leak; the floor where there are gaps leak and the bottum of the doors and windows leak. They had come back and caulked the windows; but they still leak. My advise is if you like the look of Summerwood products; ask for references; for me i would never suggest this company, not because of the product but because of the poor communication and overall satisfaction of the built product.

Product was excellent. The pool cabana looks great but the service was not as great. We had trouble having the product delivered in time and took a day off to have materials dropped off only to be told it was not going to happen that day. The next day the delivery came and he was very helpful, by no fault of his own was sent to a number of spread out locations in around to work.
