Our experience with Summerwood has been excellent. Brandon outdid himself in his commitment to customer service, and I really appreciated his guidance along the way. The shed was an excellent choice for our needs.

I have 3 sheds from Summerwood, a 'Lean to', an 8 x 10 Urban Studio and a custom sized 11 x 10 Urban Studio. All 3 are extremely well made and the Urban Studio's look wonderful in my backyard. For installation we did 3 different methods: the 'lean to' my husband and I got the kit from Summerwood and we did the build ourselves. The instructions were clear and we had no issues putting it together, however it was a bit difficult for just the two of us as some parts are very heavy. The custom built studio was installed by a contractor I had doing other work in the backyard - again they found the instructions clear however it did take them ~3 days to complete the install. The 8 x 10 studio was delivered and installed by Summerwood and they completed the work within 1 day (just had to come back to finish the rubber membrane on the roof the next day. I highly recommend spending the extra few $s to have Summerwood complete the installation. I am extremely please with the quality of the sheds and the responsiveness of Summerwood any time I had a question. I highly recommend them if you are looking to install any type of Shed/Gazebo etc.

Summerwood was a super partner in the execution of a unique building project. The vision was to purchase a floor demo model building in November, 2014, store it on site in Toronto, and transport the disassembled building 2400 miles for reassembly on remote private land in a designated wilderness area with closest road access 8 miles away. Aside from being top notch in all the expected areas of expertise, they provided tailored and individual assistance such as the following: 1. extra bracing in the top of the shipping containers to withstand the helo lift stresses 2. Storage on site for a very reasonable fee 3. sequential pictures of the building being disassembled which were invaluable in reassembling the building later 4. pictures of the shipping crates prior to shipment for planning the necessary helo lift rigging at the lift field 5. numbering/marking of some assembly items such as flooring and rafter components which greatly speeded up the reassembly 6. overcoming transport challenges with research for an affordable company within a specified timeframe 7. providing extra boards, trim, and new components to fully outfit the build process at a remote location. 8. timely response to several technical consults on such items as window sizes, shutter plans, foundation planning, and sealing supplies planning which enhanced both the long distance planning and adequate remote site preparations. photos available upon request

I just want to say 'Thank You'. The installation of our garden shed was completed with great care and professionalism...we were thrilled with the end result. We were most impressed by the thoroughness and care taken by Hussein and his intern Hans. In the midst of it all Hussein had an accident and needed to go to the hospital for stitches. YET he returned and insisted on completing the job well into the evening. Summerwood team should be proud of such employees who take their work seriously and with craftmanship. We know its 'just' a garden shed but the excellent quality of the product makes a strong statement to the property and adds greatly to our garden area. In addition we appreciated all the many emails and helpful communications we received confirming the installation needs. What wonderful organization and care they take with their product and customers.

I had never built anything like this before and though it took a bit of time, it went together fairly easily. The shed is part of a backyard landscaping project and at one point the yard was open to the street. People would walk down the street and comment on how beautiful the shed was. Most people thought it was too gorgeous to be a shed thinking it was a sauna. This shed and Summerwood exceeded my every expectation. I only wish I could order more from them, but my yard is not that big.

We are very happy with the quality of the product and the service with the company. We will soon be turning our minds to placing another order with Summerwood for our home in Toronto.

We purchased a 12' San Cristobal gazebo for our pool in the Connecticut woods. It is absolutely beautiful- better than the photos online. Wonderful details and very high quality materials. Summerwood was easy to work with, and they recommended someone in our area who had experience putting together the kit. I highly recommend them.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the plans, the material list and the building instructions. This was my first stick-build project of this size and the quality of the plans and instructions allowed me to be very confident in the process and the result. Due to the confined space I had for the shed, I modified the plan to construct the 12’ walls in two complete (frame with siding) 6’ sections. All the sides when completed with painted siding and assembled so the corners had a sealed overlapping joint. The plan was excellent in allowing me to modify the framing dimensions and construction procedure. I am very happy with the result and I have recommended Summerwood to my friends.

I am very pleased with my garden shed. It has allowed me to store and organize all my tools, pots, soil and fertilizers. I used to keep these items in the basement and it was a lot of work to move everything. The shed enhances the look of the yard all year, but especially in the summer when there are flowers in the window box. The price shown does not include assembly and shingles.
