    Great Planning and Execution for Full System Replacement

    Nate came to our home and discussed our needs, answered our questions, made important recommendations, and gave us a timely, detailed quote. The execution of Nate and his team was as scheduled and of high quality. We were well-trained by the installation team, and left with all the pertinent background books and information. Back office support was first rate throughout the process. We are so pleased with the results, and feel we have a first rate, extremely reliable system for years to come.

    Air conditioner and furnace upgrade

    Met Nate the owner on the quote and sale, exceptionally skilled/knowledgeable. Explained choices/benefits/costs simply and clearly. No pressure, fully transparent. Far different than competitive quotes/sales. Then had PROFESSIONAL technicians Kristian and Jordan at our home for the 2 day install, programming, commissioning. An enjoyable experience. They didn't leave until the work locations where spotless and we where comfortable with the app/operations. The installed equipment and piping/electrical is plumb, straight, level....about as close to 'art' as HVAC equipment can be. Exceptional work.

    York HE Furnace and Air installation

    Delighted with the professional technicians who installed a York HE furnace and air! The system is quiet and works well. I highly recommend Distinct Heating and Cooling for your heading and air conditioning needs.

    Air conditioner

    Exceptional. Would highly recommend! Very knowledgeable about the product and walked us through the new thermostat and everything they had done

    Knowledgeable & honest

    Install central air conditioning

    Technicians did an excellent job. Led us through operation and maintenance in detail. Cleanup at the end was perfect, they even vacuumed the route between front door and downstairs furnace room.

    Furnace replacement & A/C install

    When it came time to replace our gas furnace and consider installing A/C, I had done the usual and invited a couple of the larger outfits in Calgary to come to my home and tell me about their company and products and work up an estimate. A good friend highly recommended that I add Distinct Heating & Cooling to the list and am I ever glad I did. The owner Nate came to my home and spent an hour and a half with me. His knowledge of the products and his emphasis on proper installation procedure was impressive. I received a detailed estimate within a day that covered everything we discussed - no surprises and nothing I didn't understand. I felt totally confident in going with Distinct over the others. Nate and his installation technicians Jordan and Kristian arrived at my home on the scheduled install date promptly at 8:30 am and we went over the entire job. They told me what they were going to do each day of the 2 and 1/2 days and made sure I was aware of all the changes they would be making to install the new equipment. Jordan and Kristian then went about their jobs. They know what they're doing - such a tidy and well thought out installation and attention to detail. They even corrected a few short comings in the original duct work and plumbing. They left the site spic and span and thoroughly tested out the furnace, thermostat, humidifier, and A/C unit to ensure it was all working properly. It's not an easy task to find a company that delivers like Distinct Heating & Cooling. Do yourself a favour and make sure you check them out. Wayne Gillis

    Furnace Replacement

    From the not unexpected news that our old, malfunctioning furnace needed to be replaced to waving the installers goodbye the staff at Distinct Heating and Plumbing were all exceptional. Ed, kind and cheerful, was thorough in showing us how the furnace had worn out over the years. Nate, the owner, spent considerable time in explaining the heating system options with their pros and cons. The HVAC technicians, Jordan and Kristian, who removed the old furnace, ran ductwork, installed a new chimney liner for the water heater, ran new exhaust and air intake pipes and installed the high efficiency York furnace were professional, experienced, and careful in their work. They were also friendly and were always generous in answering all of our questions as well as explaining the process. They were a joy to work with. ABCCoring, who cut the holes for the puppies through the basement wall was also excellent. They came, did their work and were out within an hour. Communication was excellent with this company. They were prompt at returning calls and always sent a text with a photo of the technician and sent follow up texts if they were running a bit late. I would highly recommend Distinct Heating and Cooling. In addition, the receptionist was also extremely helpful and rearranged our first service call to an earlier time when an opening came up.     Installed two new furnaces and an air conditioner

    Nate came over one evening and walked us through what work would be done once we purchased the new furnaces and air conditioner. Very thorough. Kristian was our technician and he was very professional and punctual. He and his workmate were hardworking and respectful of our home, cleaning up the area every night.     Remove and install of new furnace, separating coil, air filter and humidifier.

    From the moment Distinct's installers walked into our door, all matters went according to their plan. The two men truly represent Distinct's mottoes - courteous, helpful, clean, tidy, protected all our floors, removed all debris plus vaccummed, left no traces of any neglect. The install is absolutely top notch and we could not be happier. We will continue to use Distinct's services from now on. Thank you to Jordan and Ed and the direction of Nate.
