Honesty and Knowledge
I love the service this company gives. If you want someone to come who knows what they are saying, goes out of their way to help you save some money and just loves their job, than these are your guys. Right down from Lori at booking to the person in your house. They all get a 5 star rating. I'm going to be a repeat customer.

New Furnaces
Nate and his colleagues provided a very professional job. Excellent attention to detail. All work was thoroughly explained. The clean up after the work was complete was thorough, too. We would have no hesitation recommending Distinct Heating & Cooling Ltd. Our home is certainly warmer and cosier.

Heating & Air Conditioning Installation
You do not realize how much is involved in sizing and installing Heating and Air Conditioning. Nate does a lot of homework and education before he sells you what you need. We really appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. We are very happy we went with Distinct Heating & Cooling. Can't wait for our first comfortable summer with Air Conditioning.

Emergency Furnace Install
I cannot recommend Nate and his crew enough. Our furnace bit the dust on a Sunday morning (of course). Langdon was out to see it within the hour. After going through the options of extending the life of an old, problematic furnace, we decided to go with a new install. Nate rearranged schedules so the new furnace could be installed within a couple of days with a much more efficient humidifier to go with it. Langdon did the work quickly and without fuss. It looks beautiful, works great, is highly energy efficient, and he left the place impeccably clean. And it comes with a 10 year parts and labor warranty! I highly recommend Distinct Heating and Cooling for their great service and expertise.

Furnace Issue
Had issues with our furnace over the winter behaving anomalously. We had another HVAC company come by and take a look, and they were unable to find the issue. After reading the reviews here, decided to have Distinct come in to take a look. They were able to come out promptly and troubleshoot the issue(s) and design a solution to remedy it. Communication from the office staff to the technicians was great, everyone was polite and knowledgeable. We were able to have all of our questions answered. Install was tidy and work performed with care. Overall, we're very satisfied with the service we have received and it's been refreshing to work with a company that has such professionalism.

York Furnace and Honeywell Humidifier & Thermostat Installation
We had Nate come to give us a quote on a new furnace installation after his company had come to fix our old original furnace. Nate was very thorough in explaining our options and we went with everything he recommended. Although it was not cheap we have absolutely no regrets. We had the York Affinity Modulating 97.5% efficient furnace, York Affinity 5" media air filter assembly (allergy reasons), Honeywell bypass flow-through humidifier and the Honeywell thermostat with wireless outdoor air sensor & remote access gateway. We have zero regrets about installing any of the above. Everything is working amazingly and we can't wait to actually see what our energy savings will be. Nate and his staff are absolutely amazing. The installation took 2 days and our home was left absolutely spotless. It was like it all miraculously happened and we didn't see anyone. Nate's quote was exactly what we paid...no surprises. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DISTINCT!!!

Furnace Repair
My furnace stopped working Christmas Day. I called 2 other HVAC companies, one of them did not return my call at all, the other called back 5 hrs later. Luckily I found Distinct Heating and Cooling. I called, left a message, and Nate the owner called back a short time later. I explained what was going on. I set up an appointment, he came out, on time, and fixed the problem. He was very patient answering all my questions, and also took the time to rewire my humidifier which the homebuider installed, incorrectly. Nate is an expert, and he takes his time to make sure everything is working as it should. I highly recommend him, and his company. R. Justin

Yearly furnace maintenance
The service guy that came by was so polite and professional. He checked my furnace over and answered any of my questions. This was the first time I have used this company and am so happy I did. I used to use a larger company before and it was so strange that each time they came they said I needed certain expensive parts for a furnace that was not very old. I will definitely use Distinct Heating and Cooling from now one and I will recommend them to everyone.

Furnace stopped working
When I woke up the first thing I noticed was an electrical burning smell, then I felt that there wasn't any air coming through the vents, even though we have the blower running constantly. I looked on Homesteads and found Distinct Heating had a perfect rating, so I called Nate. He came over a few hours later & diagnosed the problem, as well as other problems that were causing damage. He had to go and get the part, but came back in the afternoon & we had heat again! Nate was great about letting me know the cost upfront as well as providing me with information about replacing our 18 year old furnace - a job that can't be done until the summer. I would highly recommend Distinct!

The project was explained very clearly in terms of what will be done, how it will be done and the time frame. The crew was very polite, clean and qualified. The project went without a hitch and the products have been performing as explained ever since, great job.
