Roofing Job
We recently hired Eclipse Roofing to replace the shingles and upgrade the venting on the front half of our roof. The work included the front slope, both sides of the front dormer and an area below our second storey windows that face the street.
I first met the owner, Eduard Gjoshi , in late January (2017) when he visited to give us an estimate. Eduard climbed a ladder and took close up photos of the deteriorating shingles. During the same visit, he did a small repair job aimed at preventing a leak until the spring.
The job was done during the second week of April and completed in about a day and a half, with the crew working around a surprising but brief afternoon shower on the first day. The job included ice-and-water shield, new flashing and repositioned vents.
The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently but not in a rushed manner. The debris went into a bin on the back of a truck; and the clean-up was superb. I have yet to discover a single roofing nail on the ground!
We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the manner in which it was done. And we appreciated Eduard’s advice on venting for both the front and back slopes. On the back, the crew added two vents and relocated some existing ones.
