Reliable arrived within 2 days of the request and recharged our AC, which was low on coolant. The unit has worked great since repair and we are very happy with the work. The house stayed cool on July 19, which was a hot day.

I own a rental townhome Kanata while I am currently work and live in Dallas Texas. Last week, my tenant contacted me informing that the A/C stopped working and there was a burning smell coming from the furnace. I have contacted Reliance to ask for an inspection. After to paying $160 for a inspection, the representative informed me that the motor in the furnace was broken and recommended to replace the furnace and the A/C together for over $8,000. Since I did not have that much money, I wanted to get a second opinion and stumbled on to Reliable Home Environment's website which showed 10 star ratings in all across its 15 reviews. After reading the review, I contacted Reliable for a quote. Less than 2 hours after leaving a voice message, John - the president of the Reliable - contacted me late at night. Despite not being able to see him in person, John explained to me through the phone that since I am calling him from a remote location, he said he will personally visit the home and inspect the issue. To make long story short, John inspected the furnace and found out that the furnace replacement was not necessary and replaced the furnace motor on the spot. He did find out that the A/C needed a replacement and they replaced the A/C within the day. By the time John quoted me for the A/C replacement, we were haggling for price but only because John offered to not charge for the motor replacement while I wanted to pay him for at least the parts. Overall, this was the best customer experience I have ever had. I'd recommend Reliable to anybody who is having issues with their furnace or A/C in the Greater Ottawa area.

Reliable arrived at my home on time and ready to do the work. The Tech introduced himself as Justin and was very professional during and after the installation. Once the job was completed, which I might add was very neat and clean as a former member in the trade was completely cleaned up and all garbage and excess material removed. All I can say is this company keeps to the promises made at point of sale, no hidden expenses. I would highly recommend them to other potential clients. Kudos Dave

Just had a new Lennox Furnace and AC installed by John, Taylor Van Gurp and Jordan Boot. Excellent service, polite and courteous team. We are very pleased with the workmanship.

My husband pulled three companies off the internet and indicated that Reliable had the best BBB rating - they are the only company I called and I couldn't have been more satisfied by the respectful and courteous treatment I received from my initial call pleading for help after my "AC committed suicide" - John was so friendly and reassuring telling me that someone would be out to see us that very evening. Jordan and his colleague came by the house and had a look and deemed that yes indeed, an AC funeral was in order. We told him to go ahead and provide us with a quote and he promised to let us know the next day how much and when he could install (advising due to high levels of requests - installation may take up to 2 or 3 days). Jordan called me the next morning with a quote and said that if we were flexible, he could come within the next two hours to work on the installation! We had a new AC unit within just over 24 hours! The best part of our dealing with Reliable is that we NEVER felt pressured to purchase something more than we needed, costs and work required were explained well in advance of the installation and the follow up to caring for our new AC was so very much appreciated. All in all, John, Jordan and his colleague (I forget his name), went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, fair pricing, excellent equipment and genuine care for their client. Without hesitation, we recommend Reliable and we will for sure use them in the future should we require any assistance.

I have a Lennox furnace and AC. The AC stopped working and had another service shop take a look and they said I needed it replaced. Jordan from Reliable Homes came out and did the troubleshooting and we were back up and running. Awesome company to work with and just amazing service from Jordan.

Bottom line: This company is highly recommended. Completed a high quality installation of all HVAC equipment in my home with superior customer service throughout the whole process. Details: Picked Reliable out of 3 estimates from quality companies in order to do a complete HVAC equipment replacement, installing a Lennox furnace & AC, and a Rheem condensing tankless water heater in my home. Starting with the sales visit, Greg was helpful in identifying a good equipment combination that would suit my home, and I was able to take advantage of a promotional offer to get the Lennox SLP98V at a discounted rate, and OPA & manufacturer rebates. Greg also paid attention to detail during the visit and identified a number of items from the existing setup by a previous owner that did not meet current code and would be corrected during the new install. Taylor, Jeremy, and Jordan installed the furnace including humidifier and cartridge type media filter, the AC, and the tankless water heater. The workmanship by these guys was excellent on all three units. The finished product looks clean and professional including vent and drain placements. I had advised the crew to use their judgement considering we hope to eventually finish the basement, and the final placement of everything they chose is going to make finishing that space a piece of cake. Undertaking this upgrade was a major investment in our home, but we feel completely justified after seeing the final results, and I'd highly recommend this company to anyone.

We had many questions as it has been 27 years since purchasing our previous AC and a lot has changed. Your installers arrived as scheduled, completed the installation without a hitch, explained what they would be doing during the installation, answered all our questions and thoroughly cleaned up the job site. We will recommend your firm to our friends.

My boyfriend and I had gotten a few quotes to get a new air conditioner installed in our home. We had gotten an extremely high quote from another company. We then looked for another company and read some great reviews online about reliable. We requested an appointment via email and within 10 minutes we received a call from Greg and set up an appointment for the next day. Greg answered all of our questions made us feel very comfortable with the product and the company. The price was also almost 1,000 dollars less than the other company. We scheduled the install for a few weeks later and it went pretty seamlessly. Overall, we were very happy with the services provided and they made the process very easy. I also received a call from the owner John following the install to check in and provide tips and answer any questions. Everyone we dealt with were really great and I highly recommend reliable. We will certainly be using them for any HVAC services we need in the future.

0800 Saturday morning- after realising on the first scorcher of the season that my AC was not functioning- phone RHE for service- not expecting any answer or a long waiting time for repair. Call answered right way, courteous, attentive and polite- Yay John ... in my driveway by 10:15 pulls in the truck- and by 10:30 AC working perfectly...thanks god on a plus 34*C day Excellent service, courtesy and client attention- all the key elements to ensuring my loyalty
