I had quotes from over a dozen contractors to replace a furnace in our home. Reliable Home wasn't the cheapest quote but I value professionalism, service and reliability which I believe we are getting with this company. They even helped us out on an emergency hot water tank replacement. Action speaks louder than words and I have found the staff to be prompt, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home.

We have been with John VanDerHeyden and his company Reliable Home Environment since 2009 when we had our furnace and air conditioner replace under the government Cool Savings Rebate Program. John and his team have been providing excellent service over the years. Yesterday our hot water tank began to leak while we were out. When we arrived home the basement had a couple of inches of water on the floor. I did not know where to turn. I called John after hours and within a few minutes he called me bank with the make and model and inventory number of water tank available at a local supplier. I picked it up last night. John had to rearrange to have one of his employees, Daryl Doxsee arrive first thing in the morning to install the hot water tank. Once the hot water tank was installed John and Daryl had to rush off to catch up on his commitments for the day. We would highly recommend John VanDerHeyden and his team not just for their expertise but as friends we can rely on for commitment to service to their customers.

Needed a quick repair for our fireplace - quick service, technician arrived on time, very courteous and knowledgeable, part was ordered and arrived on time, no surprise, competitive price - perfect experience I wish I have with all contractors in the city.

My 15 year old furnace stopped working over a freezing cold long weekend. I put a service call into one of the larger local companies to get my furnace working. I was told the heat exchanger was cracked, and the furnace was shut down and red-tagged. The company sent their sales rep to see me that morning, and his quote for the equipment I wanted seemed quite high. A friend recently changed his HVAC system in the fall, and after meeting with multiple companies, he ended up using Reliable Home Enviroment He was most impressed with the quality of their, so he was happy to refer them to me. I knew the exact equipment that I wanted, and after speaking to Reliable, there quote was significantly lower than the competition for the furnace and central air conditioning unit. I gave them the go-ahead, and within 24 hours, my new furnace was installed. The owner John went out of his way to provide several space heaters to me that day (during a massive blizzard) to help keep our house warm until the furnace arrived. The installation did crew did a fantastic job with the installation. They were personable and knew their stuff! I am looking to Reliable coming back in the spring to install my new air conditioning. John and the team at Reliable Home Environment are fantastic. I first met them in 2012 when my old furnace died and they had me up and running with a new one the next day. Today, on the Family Day holiday we woke up to a cold house and the technician from Reliable was at the house less than 2 hours after we contacted them. The tech walked into the house with a replacement part in his hand - problem solved under warranty in under 15 minutes! Every interaction I have had with Reliable has been prompt and professional, I would recommend them to anyone.

Just prior to the start of the Christmas holidays, my domestic boiler began exhibiting issues. The unit was displaying a fault code that required an onsite visit from an HVAC technician. Not knowing what company could service this unit, I called Reliable Home Environment. Reliable Home Environment was able to fix my domestic boiler and were very reasonable with their fees. I can say without a doubt that Reliable Home Environment pride themselves on customer satisfaction and I'll have no hesitation to call them the next time my HVAC equipment require servicing.

If you have replace a furnace, this is the way to do it! John and his team are consummate professionals who genuinely care about what they do, and how their actions impact their clients. This is the second time my wife and I have had to replace a furnace (in two different homes) and for which we have called upon the services of the Reliable "Dream Team". I can tell you uneqivocally we would both choose Reliable again in a heartbeat, hands down, no questions asked. From the first sales meeting, thru to the after install follow-up with John, this company goes above and beyond to take care of its clients by explaining each step, what is being done, and then making sure you are good to go!

I am writing to highly recommend Reliable Home Environment. From our initial meeting with Brett and completing our contract for our new home furnace and new home air conditioning unit, we were so pleased. On the day of the installation, right from the moment we met Jordan, he was courteous, kind and professional. Jordan explained everything he was going to do, to both myself and my husband. Taylor was Jordan's co-worker, who was also courteous, kind and professional. They work so well as a team ! The job was done in the amount of time they said it would and they explained how the new furnace worked and cleaned up the work area (it was spotless) ! They tested and made sure that both the furnace and air conditioning unit were working. They explained that if we had any questions, to give them a call anytime. After my furnace was red tagged, I decided to contact Reliable based on the reviews here. Brett came to my house the same evening and did not waste my time with marketing gimmicks. He presented the options and provided honest answers to my questions. I felt it was a trustworthy business with good prices so I made the purchase. Brett immediately made arrangements for the new furnace to be installed the following morning. The furnace was installed as planned. Jordan was the first technician to arrive and he took the time to explain the work to be done. Both technicians were very nice, respectful, and clearly competent. The installation looks very clean. I also had a nice chat with John, who it turns out is from Arvida, Quebec, my hometown. Small world.

My excellent experience with Reliable started right at the beginning when I requested a quote. Greg was extremely professional and walked me through everything in detail. I had received 2 additional quotes and Reliable still came in lower than the others and demonstrated exceptional customer service. The installation was no different. Jordan, Taylor and another gentleman (name escapes me) were all extremely professional and did amazing work. They arrived when they said they would and would call if they running late. When investing in your homes central heat source, it is really comforting to know you are dealing with professionals. I would highly recommend Reliable Home Environment!
