    An excellent experience

    We hired this company to repaint the interior of our new home almost entirely before moving into it. From the very beginning communication was quick, clear and simple. They responded very promptly to our request for an estimate - much faster than the other 3 companies we approached - and they were very good at defining the scope of the project with us and walking us through the stages. Their timelines were more than reasonable and their estimate was very competitive. We were very pleased that they provided daily updates on progress by email and set out goals for the following day, which they attained. We were also pleased that when we asked for a change in plans, they made it promptly and cheerfully. The quality of the work impressed us greatly and they left the home clean and tidy. We are very pleased to have hired them and would not hesitate to recommend them or to hire them again for another project later on.

    Complex Ceiling Refinishing

    I strongly recommend this painting contractor. They responded promptly to my initial request for a quotation with a detailed explanation of the job scope and cost, and scheduled the work much earlier than I had expected. They quickly completed an expert repair and refinishing of a very awkward area of damaged stipple ceiling. I am very satisfied with their work, and will definitely use their services in future.

    New Condo FULL paint job

    The team lived up to their name! They were able to work around my schedule and honoured the quote. They were a total pleasure to deal with and left the place even cleaner than when they arrived. I would recommend Clayton and Kelly to everyone I know. Honestly, the condo looks so good I was scared my partner would want to flip-it:)

    Full Interior Refresh

    We are very pleased with the service Clayton and Kelly provided. They just completed painting almost the entire interior of our home, including tall ceilings and a challenging hallway/stairwell. The finished work looks amazing. We were also impressed with their professionalism, tidiness, and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend them and I hope to have them back for some exterior work in the future. Thanks again!

    Tricky Interior Painting

    We had Clayton and Kelly come in to paint the main living area of our house which included some very high ceilings and tricky spots. They did a fantastic job to get it completed in a day, for the quoted price, to very high standards, and were very friendly on top of that. It was an excellent experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    Interior Painting

    They painted 10 rooms over two floors of our house plus hallways. They worked around our last minute colour decisions and got the job done when they said they would.

    Kitchen and Dining Room

    How often can you say that a project was delivered on time, on budget and exceeded expectations? I can't recommend A Cut Above enough, they did an outstanding job that was the work of a perfectionist. When i returned home, my space was in spotless condition and looked fabulous. I won't look anywhere else for painting and will continue to recommend them to others.

    Residential Interior Painting

    Clayton and Kelly provided excellent, professional service. I initially selected their company based on their professional website with examples of client work and reviews. My request was answered later the same day and from there, every aspect of our project was done with a high level of service. They transformed a dark basement Rec room in to a light-filled new space. They were very clear on the work that would be required and we were very pleased with the results. We will use their services for more painting projects at our home.

    deck and outdoor bench staining

    A Cut Above provided wonderful service, professional advice and quality work. Kelly and Clayton did an amazing job in 2015 staining our large deck and garden bench. They turned a bit of mess (stain that did not look good) into a beautiful part of our gorgeous garden. The solid stain that they used for the work is fantastic and exceeds our expectations. I highly recommend Kelly and Clayton (A Cut Above; perfect name☺) to anyone looking for high quality workmanship and a dependable and reliable service provider. Clayton and Kelly kept in touch with us when work had to be delayed due to weather conditions and they always came when they said they would. They also lived up to their commitment for any touch ups after the work had been completed. They even came back this year to ensure all was looking good and to do small touch ups on the deck. Truly – a ‘cut above’! Thanks so much…

    House painting -- living room, dining room, two hallways, two stairwells, laundry room

    Clayton and Kelly provided courteous service with high degree of professionalism. Their communication was always prompt, polite and helpful. They did a fantastic painting job in less than two days and paid attention to every detail. I would have no hesitation in recommending their company to others.
