    Interior Painting

    I hired Clayton and Kelly of A Cut Above Painting to paint the interior of my house, ceilings, walls and trim, in June 2015. My experience with this company, starting with the initial call-back, the site visit, preparation of the estimate, to the actual painting and completion of the job, was outstanding. I found Clayton and Kelly to be great communicators, thoroughly professional and courteous. The quality of the paint job was outstanding. They delivered on time and on budget. I have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this company to anyone looking for quality and professionalism in their painting contractor.

    Painting of exterior deck

    I enjoyed working with Clayton and Kelly. An estimate was provided within a few days of the initial visit. They did a very good job, showed up on time and kept me informed about their schedule when it rained. We are very satisfied with their work.

    painting and minor wall repairs

    Very professional. Showed up every day on time and did the job well ahead of schedule. Very polite and were a pleasure to deal with. Took great pride in their work and came back a few days later for some minor touch ups and to make sure that I was entirely satisfied. Excellent service at a good price. No hesitation to recommend them.

    Interior and exterior painting

    Clayton and Kelly were awesome. The painting looks terrific, and they were super professional and friendly through the whole process. They went above and beyond making sure our home was neat and tidy when they left, and that the painting looked perfect when it was all done. They stand behind their work, and it shows.

    Patching and paint throughout the house

    We had our basement and bathroom painted, as well as a few holes patched. Clayton came in and gave us a very good estimate and took his time explaining different things about painting and patching that we didn't know about. Not long after, he and Kelly came in and not only did the work that they were hired to do but went the extra mile and did more without us even asking (ex: sealed dents and cracks). We quickly noticed that Clayton and Kelly are extremely picky, knowledgeable and very good at their job! Job done in one day and they worked as if they were doing their own home. We were floored and extremely happy with the results. Well priced and the quality of the work is A++. We have had different painters come through our home, but this duo was far more professional and pleasant than all the rest. Thank you guys so much!

    paint main floor and stairwell

    Professional with a CAPITAL "P" Great Paint Job, neat & tidy,and on time. Painted walls, ceiling, baseboard and trim, and many doors in hallway. I had them return and do both bedrooms at another time.

    New Build Painting

    After much research and 7 quotes I decided to use A Cut Above Painting. The price was right and the timing for the project was based around my schedule. Clay and Kelly are non-smokers and don't leave any mess behind. We had them paint a charcoal grey 2 story accent wall, the master bedroom and our 4 piece bathroom. Clay dropped off the paint wheel for me to choose the paints (Sherwin Williams) and didn't try to sway me in other directions when it came to my vision. They were in/out within 5 hours and the job was absolutely perfect, no taping required, no mess left behind and they were both so pleasant to work with. I was able to work from home and didn't even hear them. Since then they have painted my mom's bungalow and currently working on a rental unit for me. Their expertise, professionalism and prices are unbeatable.

    Painting 4 bedrooms

    This is the second job they've done for us and it didn't disappoint. Again, Kelly and Clay are very professional, conscientious and meticulous in their work. They did a great job, as layers of wall paper had to be removed, plaster walls repaired. The painting job is immaculate. A 3rd job awaits, this one outdoors. Excellent work.

    Nursery Paint

    We were completing the nursery for our first baby and decided to go all out with a feature wall with different layers and depths. Something I just wasn't keen on painting myself. We contacted 4 highly reviewed painters(including A Cut Above) in the area and Clayton & Kelly stood out from all of them. They actually took the time to come out and see the feature wall to give us the best quote possible and understand what we wanted to accomplish. They also were one of the most competitive bids. Communication was always prompt, and we were never chasing them to get answers to questions, nor were they pushy in trying to get the business while we waited for other quotes to come in. Clayton & Kelly scheduled the work to be completed within our schedule when we wanted and were able to finish the job faster than we expected. They were also the same two to come paint, as they don't use subs. The took the extra time to tape and cover the entire room as they were using a sprayer on the feature wall and there was no messes for us to clean up after. The nursery looks fantastic, and being in a new build, there's lots of other rooms we will be wanting to get painted and won't even hesitate to have them back. They were very professional and meticulous in their work. A+

    interior painting

    We recently had Clayton and Kelly paint our entire upstairs hallway and all the walls down the stairs to our basement. Clayton came and gave us a competitive estimate and wrote down exactly what they would be doing for this price. I wanted a different paint than their usual supplier and they took care of pricing and picking it up for me. They were very concerned with leaving our house the way they found it each day and I was more than pleased with their cleanup, They as well did everything to ensure that any sanding that was done was protected from the rest of the house. Extra dust was at a minimum. I was very grateful for this. We had new rugs installed before they arrived and they were meticulously covered while they painted. Upon completion - ahead of schedule!- the painted area looked lovely. With their strong work ethic and careful technique I have no hesitation in recommending them. Debra Rossman
