    Main floor walls/ Hallway and basement staircase

    We were referred by extended family, who had some work done as well at their home. Clayton and Kelly were really attentive to what we were looking at getting done, and they were really helpful in selecting the colour. They came and did a fantastic job, and we have since then referred them to friends that are also looking to get work done. Highly recommended Thanks again Clayton and Kelly

    Kitchen touch up!

    After replacing the counters and backsplash in our kitchen, the walls needed mudding and paint to repair a gap left by the old backsplash. Clayton and Kelly offer a competitive price, accurate quote, and quality work. They are prompt, friendly and courteous. We have had A Cut Above Painting for a number of jobs, and will continue to rely on them for any painting we need.

    Quality Stairwell Painting

    We are very pleased with A Cut Above Painting's work and would hire them again for future projects. Kelly and Clayton provided us quick, friendly, quality service at a very competitive price. My partner and I were in the process of repainting our house ourselves, but decided to hire a professional painter for our stairwell because we knew its curve and height would prove to be a challenging job for us. After gathering a few estimates, we decided to go with A Cut Above Painting. They were always quick to respond to our messages, agreed to using the Behr Marquee paint we had, and their price fit our budget. It was also clear based on our conversations that they knew their trade. Kelly and Clayton made the whole project seem effortless. In a single morning, the two of them were able to repair minor imperfections, sand the surfaces and apply 2 coats of paint. They were efficient, yet did not sacrifice quality. We were very happy with the results and are now considering more projects with them because of it.

    A full house interior painting

    We had this company did a full house interior painting just before Christmas. Their quote was quick and detailed, and price is competitive. Their customer service is prompt. Clayton and Kelly are professional, hard working, and polite. We are happy about their quality work.

    I can't say enough good about A Cut Above. Clayton and Kelly were exceptional from start to finish. The first inspection was comprehensive and the estimate fair and detailed. They arrived on time as scheduled and worked diligently until finished—2 days early! They paid significant attention to detail and went above and beyond my expectations. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

    Incredibly professional and reliable

    We hired A Cut Above this year to repaint our townhouse interior and front door. Throughout the quote process through to completion, Clayton and Kelly were incredibly reliable and professional. Their workmanship was impeccable. They provided proof of insurance. We had some tight timelines and they helped us make sure they were met, even working around a last minute houseguest. There was a lot of patching to be done and a few spots dried oddly in the days to follow. Clayton and Kelly came back and fixed those perfectly. They were clear about setting expectations at the start, fantastic with their communication about what was done and what was next. We're incredibly satisfied with the work they did and would choose them again without question.

    Interior house painting, walls, ceilings, trim, laundry room cabinets

    We had “A Cut Above Painting” complete interior painting of our rental property back in June. We were very pleased with their work so had them back to complete most of our home in November. From the estimate through to having them return to do a few touch ups a week or so after the job was completed, we found them once again to be very professional, respectful of our home, receptive to any questions or concerns we had...in short, “A Cut Above”. One big advantage is that they are owner operated so the person who comes around to do the estimate, is the same person who is actually doing the painting. Highly recommend Clayton and Kelly.

    Walls, hallways, ceiling, trim, stairs, mantel

    Clayton and Kelly did a great job painting the interior of our house. They were professional right from the quotation through to the final invoice payment. They provided daily updates and left the house clean and tidy after each day of painting. Thanks guys!

    Outdoor porch paint work

    Kelly and Clay have done indoor and out door work for us over the last 6 years. They work well together, and the finished product is always meticulously done. They are punctual and within estimated time limits for a job. Highly recommended.
