    Staining Deck & Sheds

    A Cut Above Painting stained our deck a few years ago. We contacted them again to stain two sheds and touch-up the deck. They did a great job on both, and matched the original color on the deck, as well as replacing some rotten wood. Scheduling was a challenge with rainy weather and construction next door, but they were able to re-adjust their schedule to fit us in during a week when the dust from net door was at a minimum. The finished job looks great.

    Interior house painting

    Clayton and Kelly are extremely pleasant. They work diligently and produce very good results. We were very pleased with the job they did and will be having them back soon for another job.

    Exterior Painting

    Kelly and Clayton did an excellent job on my exterior siding. They were very professional, punctual and polite, price was very fair and competitive. I am very pleased with the end result, and will not hesitate to recommend this organization and their service at anytime. Thanks once again, and keep up the good work. Sergio,

    Interior and exterior painting

    We have used A Cut Above twice, both for indoor (painting our nursery) and outdoor (fence staining and outdoor house painting) jobs. Clayton and Kelly do great work - taking time to go over the project with us and to select the right product, and doing a very high quality job each time. So great to come home from work/travel to such a clean, fresh new look. They provide daily email updates on work progress, and happily glued a cracked post in our new fence. They also painted our door frame at no extra cost. They book up quickly so you’ll want to contact them well ahead of time, but you’ll be happy that you did!

    New life for my Carport

    I had my carport painted by Clayton and Kelly and could not be happier with the results, and the entire process. My initial questions about the job were answered with expert advice, and the communication about the project was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

    Upstairs Painting

    Kelly and Clayton painted our master bedroom and ensuite, our second bedroom and second full bathroom, plus hallway doors and trim. The work was completed on schedule in two days and adhered to the original quote. We join the other HomeStar reviewers who rated Kelly and Clayton so highly. The quality of the work was excellent, and they are thoroughly professional. They even did extra work caulking and touching up where they were not required to do so. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking painting service. We should note also that the price reflects our request that a premium paint be used (Benjamin Moore Aura) despite its higher than normal cost.

    Horrid customer service

    I hired Clayton and Kelly to paint 3 bedrooms and the staircase, spindles and risers. While the bedrooms were painted well, the paint of the staircase started peeling off within 6 months/ when I brought this to the attention of Clayton and Kelly I was simply told it’s normal wear and tear. I requested that it be fixed but was not given a time and date for the staircase to be fixed. With no choice left I had to get another painting professional who did inform me that the paint peeled as there was not enough drying time in between coats. I am absolutely shocked at the customer service that I was not even given a date and time it could be fixed. Will never recommend Clayton and Kelly to anyone.

In our email to you we specifically stated that the paint coming off in the 2 small areas on the banister was not indicative of normal wear and tear and that paint should not rub off under normal circumstances. We also said that we would be more than happy to come by and touch those areas up for you. We then said that we would let you know when we are working in your area so that we could come by and touch those 2 areas up. We are sorry that you found our efforts unsatisfactory.     Superior Interior Painting!

    A Cut Above Painting is aptly named! It started with a fair and competitive estimate. Scheduling is easy, emails are always promptly replied to. Clayton and Kelly are friendly and courteous, and a pleasure to meet. We had our kitchen, living room, powder room, master bathroom, foyer and hallways painted. They arrived on time every morning. The walls were all well prepared by them, and we are thrilled with the end results! The house looks great, and we are so happy that we chose A Cut Above Painting. We are repeat clients, and I would certainly recommend them, and use them again myself.

    Whole house painting

    From the estimate process to the daily email updates while the job was underway to completion of the whole house painting, I was extremely impressed with the communication, attention to detail, patching and filling of areas to be repaired and the actual paint job. Excellent quality and workmanship. Five stars for sure!

    Paint refresh and plaster repairs

    Clayton and Kelly made the contracting experience a breeze - not only did they offer the most reasonable pricing but they were genuinely concerned with our happiness with their work. Without question, we'd use them again.
