    Cockroaches Treatment in Condo

    We live in Ottawa, but we have a rental unit in a condo building in Scarborough. The occupants informed us that they have seen 2 cockroaches. They requested pest control treatment. Being in a different city made it more difficult to select and hire a pest control company especially we have no prior experience with pest control. The condo management gave us a few names to select including "Pest Control Plus Inc." We eventually settled on Pest Control Plus based on researching on "Homestars" web site and a phone conversation with Ben, the owner, on things such as treatment methods, treatment packages, pricing, etc. Ben was pleasant and professional to talk to and did not rush to close the deal. On the day of the treatment, we met the technician, Brent, who was going to do the treatment. We had a discussion on what he was going to do, his assessment of the situation before and after the treatment as well as providing recommendations. We were very happy with Brent. He took his time to explain things, very customer friendly, polite and easy to talk to. He gave us a comfortable feeling even thought we are not knowledgeable with pest control and won't know the result or the effectiveness of the treatment sometime later. The fact that it was a rental unit meant that we have to deal with the tenants as well. We spent a considerable time in relaying info and questions between Ben and the tenants such as treatment date, duration, preparation requirements, after-treatment requirements, etc. Since it is a rental situation, we also wanted to have a paper trail by way of documentation. We communicated with Ben via email, text and telephone. Ben was flexible and always able to respond in a timely manner. In truth, because of our situation, Ben probably spent more time dealing with us than other situation where the occupant is the same as the owner. Ben was very patient throughout the whole process (no irritation whatsoever!) In summary, I found both Ben and Brent very patient, customer friendly, and easy to talk to. I will definitely reflect the above to the our condo management as well.......... Keep up the good work !

    Hornet nest

    Ben was great! He was friendly, quick, professional and explained the entire process to us. Will definitely be using these guys in the future if we ever get any unwelcome guests again. Will be recommending them to friends as well.

    Pest/wildlife control

    I got their number from my neighbor and Ben came the very next day and he was punctual. He looked around, asked questions, assessed the situation and gave some advice on what I should do to help alleviate the problem. He also located the entry point where the squirrels got inside. He returned the next day and set a trap along with a one-way door at the entry point. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I have already passed their info onto to other friends.

    Attempt to remove raccoons

    We called Pest Protection Plus to help remove 4 baby raccoons (whose mother had already left) from our attic. Their representative, Anthony, arrived exactly on time and was very polite and helpful. He told us that he wasn't allowed to trap the babies but he did spend 45 minutes trying to catch them. He wasn't successful, but certainly not for a lack of trying. Despite the amount of time that he spent, the company did not charge us for the visit since they weren't able to capture the raccoons. We definitely would recommend this company and especially Anthony.

    Racoon removal

    Pest Protection Plus Inc is an affordable wildlife removal service. They are empathic to your wildlife situation, and they assess the problem quickly and diplomatically. The wildlife service guy came and knew exact where the raccoon was, and what steps needed to be taken. As well, they advise what to expect and when they would be back to remove the trap. I highly recommend this wildlife removal company, and if I have another wildlife problem, I will definitely contact them.

    Skunk removal

    Employee was on time and courteous. Looked under the deck and determined skunk was dead. Had the needed tools to pull up the deck board ( without damaging it ). Disposed of skunk and sprayed sanitizer in the area where the dead animal had been. Gave me a few ideas to get rid of the smell. I was very satisfied.

    Raccoon access/ removal

    While we initially had some challenges and disappointment with Pest Protection Plus and getting a Mama Racoon and her babies removed from our attic. I was more then pleased when Ben and Anthony contacted me after they heard I was unhappy. Both of them ensured that whatever gaps that remained in the removal of the raccoons from our attic were quickly and expertly rectified and resolved. Brent came as well to help with the actual removal and he was gentle and kind to the animals and gave us some great advice to ensure that the Mama racoon came and got her babies the next day. I want to thank the team at Pest Protection Plus for making things right in a tough situation and I appreciate their expertise handling wildlife in a human way. We still have little bit of work to complete on the final lock down of the attic entrance but I'm more then confident that Ben and his team will do a great job. Thanks again Team. Cheers Sandy

    Pest control; wildlife prevention

    The guys at Pest Protection are great. They've assisted us several times with pesty nuisances. Ben has always prioritized our projects and his professionalism and good service is much appreciated.

    Pest removal

    If someone is reading this, then they are likely in the exact position I was: the invasive feeling of knowing there was something in the attic that didn't belong. Within twenty four hours I had a quote, squirrel babies were removed and relocated; and the access point had been identified and eliminated. To the entertainment of my friends, I believe I spent the equivalent of Pest Protection's fees and then some with my own attempts at poisons, noise devices, and everything else available at Canadian Tire. I'd recommend you simply hire the professionals and save yourself the grief! Todd Clark / Georgetown, Ontario

    Check the roof and the attic. Put some bate in case there are rats in the attic.
