    Great service!

    We had excellent service from the employee named Hassan! He not only stayed longer for us to decide on what we wanted, but put in the effort to ensure we were satisfied. We were hestiant on coming here as the reviews were not so great, but Hassan proved us wrong. I'd highly reccommend asking for his service at the Richmond Hill location as he is kind and eager to help. It was a great experience and we were left completely happy with our purchases and time at York Taps! Thanks again Hassan for your help, you were great!

    Buyer Beware

    Worst service I have ever experienced. They do not allow you to return items purchased because whatever you buy is a special order. They were not competitively priced. The owner removed parts of the product I purchased from the box. Then they told me it wasn't included and I needed to buy that part.

    Terrible Service

    Terrible and one of the worst experiences for customer service. We purchased a glass top vanity and the water did not drain properly. The sink is defective. My husband went in several times and they said they would follow up- no response! He went into the store a final time and the owner had the odasity to say that "well this is what you you for what you paid for." Who says these kinds of things to a paying customer . The owner right down to the sales don't care after they have made a sale. This is clear in their poor service and treatment. I would rather takey business to a reputable ste or. Stay away! We will be filing a complaint t the better business bureau.

    showers and toilets

    We purchased 3 things from them, 2 showers and 1 toilet, ALL OF THEM ARE DEFECTIVE, and the store won't even let us exchange them. Pieces were missing from the shower unit , elbow connectors are broken and leaking, toilet is for European standard and a pain to install. Sales guy insists everything is Canadian standard but NO, DO NOT TRUST THE STORE! SUCH A NIGHTMARE!

    Installation of a Toto Toilet

    I purchased a skirted Toto toilet last Saturday and it was delivered today to be installed. The toilet is fine but the staff did not at all tell me that the installation required drilling. I live in a condo and no drilling is allowed after 4:00 p.m. When the installer told me around 3:45 that there would drilling I prayed that it would not take too long. It did however and around 4:15 p.m the super and an irate condo owner working knocking at my door telling me this had to stop. It couldn't because the staller was right in the middle. The staff should be educated on the new models to inform the customer about this. Secondly, they should advise the customer to make sure there is enough clearance between the toilet and vanity as these new models have pins drilled in. Fortunately, the installer found a flexible drill that enabled him to finish the job - but for a while it looked like we would have to caulk the toilet. Bottom line, sale service needs improvement. The installer was great!

    Bathroom vanity

    Avoid this retailer. I bought a bathroom vanity here as it was the only vanity that I could find that would fit the space I had. The delivery was late and the drivers rude. Within 6 months, the hinges were broken and the vanity wobbled. I had to call 4 times and come in person to the showroom to get them to order replacement hinges which I then had to come personally pick up. I will never purchase anything from them and suggest all potential customers avoid this store.

    Bathroom renovation

    Beware of this place, their product falls apart after a few months and their after sales service is horrible, I repeat horrible!!! They will not stand by their 1 year warranty on their own product and had the audacity to blame the customer for a defective item, I will be telling all my friends to spend their money elsewhere.

    Wall mounted Toilet

    Worst possible experience, ordered a wall mounted toilet in july. the only reason why i went with this place is because they promised they can get the toilet in 2 weeks as they have a really good relationship with distributor. waited till oct which consisted of weekly calls and visit to their showroom and no one taking accountability. Just one excuse after the next, were not willing to refund the money as the order had already been placed. when i ordered the toilet they told me i can order any plate, when i was picking up the toilet in october they said that plate was too expensive and would only be able to give me a cheaper plate. then i had to wait another month for the plate.

    Kitchen and bathroom faucets

    Terrible service and terrible attitudes when they make errors. They sent chrome vs brushed nickel, sent a tub filler with no inside parts, sold me a unit that did not do what they said it would do, had to make several return trips to get things right...except a couple of reasonably priced things the whole experience was not good.

    Worst service ever

    Please listen to all the bad reviews of this place and save yourself the time and frustration. Every single aspect of my dealings with them was terrible. Salespeople are confrontational and whoever is working the phone is terrible. I wish I had of listened to the reviews. Don't make the same mistake all of us have made. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I'm not sure who actually owns this place but you run a terrible business. It's because of businesses like this that small stores are losing to the big chains who respect their customer. I can't say enough bad things about this place. Do not shop here.
