These guys were amazing! I don't know where to start, I wish I had got their names to post up on here but they were efficient, professional, on schedule, and best of all, left nothing behind! They cleaned up so well, they even flushed out the gutters. Even though the job has been done for over a week, I'm still proudly posting the company flag at the end of my lawn and show it off to all my neighbors. am very happy to get my small townhouse re-roofed about 10 days ago. My old roof was almost 20 years old. I have been trying to get a roofer since last fall but have not been successful. Many big companies do not like small job on a townhouse because they are not as profitable. Often they will simply quote a ridiculous price or tell you that they are fully booked. My townhouse is stacked-up to 3 levels. It is very challenging to set-up. This year I started looking for roofer early and after comparing price, products, warranty and company's reputation, I decided to go with Excel Building and Roofing. I live outside of Canada so I cannot really comment on their actual work, I can only comment on their client service. All of my phone calls, questions and email are answered promptly. Natalie - the office manager was very polite and pleasant to talk to. E.g. I had no idea what arm deck or rubber flange was, she patiently explained those items to me. I was concerned about what had happened to my 2 old vents; she explained that a new maxi roof vent was installed and the old vents were blocked. The new vent's capacity is adequate for the townhouse size. They kept the power vent on the lower front roof to allow better ventilation.. She even sent me pictures of the roof including the ridge capping after the work was completed. They look fabulous. As soon as the work was completed, she sent me Workmanship Warranty and info regarding product warranty registration. (They use GAF products and their pricing seems very reasonable.) Alex and his team started the work at the end of June, they actually even came on Canada Day to finish the job. I like their dedication and the fact that they take pride in their work. I have full faith in the quality of their work and I will not hesitate to recommend Excel Building and Roofing to anyone who needs to re-roof, especially those who has a small roof like mine because they do treat small job seriously. I highly respect this level of professionalism.

We had great service from Excel, and now have a beautiful new roof from them. The crew worked through one of the hottest weekends of the summer, and got our job done quickly, cleanly and professionally. Dealing with Alex was a pleasure from start to finish - his review of the finished job with us was a real plus. We've already recommended Excel and will continue to do so!

Alex and his team made re-roofing my home (and replacing my gutters) the best experience it could have been. From our first meeting where he took the time to answer all of my (sometimes basic) questions right through to payment (which was eminently reasonable). I planned to replace my roof last year. I called in a number of rooters to have quotes. All of them but Alex from Excel told me my roof was in very bad shape that needs replacing immediately. But Alex told me that my roof was not that bad and did not need rework then. This year, when I decided to do the job, I hired Excel for it. Their quote was not the lowest, but reasonable. They completed the job with high quality in 3 days. The workers are friendly and very professional. After completed their roof work, they also fixed the minor issues with my eave gutters. They cleaned up the site completely. I strongly recommend Excel for roof works.

I found Excel to be a very professional and capable company to work with. They were responsive and informative during the entire process. The work was done in a timely manner and at the agreed upon price. They were very good about cleaning up at the end of each day and left the property in great condition when the work was finished. I would recommend them as a roofing company to anyone looking to have their roof done.

I'm very happy with the work that Excel did on my home. Alex was able to answer all of my questions quickly and was available whenever I needed. I did not get a chance to see the crew work but every day when I came home my property was so clean that it was hard to tell that they had been there at all. The roof looks great and I'm still very pleased with it months later. I would certainly recommend Excel to anyone needing roof work done in the future.
